Trigonometry notes.

Today have 2 lessons of Add Math. I still have to improve my trigonometry homeworks. I really need more exercises. I aim to score a good marks in my Add Math in SPM!

Haniza's dancing in the class as usual. I've recorded a series of videos but too bad my cam doesnt support voice recording as well so it's just a silent video. It'll be better if can listen to her sound. Thinking whether I'll post the video here or not. Hmm....

Let me introduce 2 teachers in my school...

First, Ms Nee, my physic teacher.


Second, Mdm Chek PC, my chinese teacher.


Both are very responsible teachers, got sense of humour, at least we're not feeling bored in their class.

After school, stayback at school awhile kicking football under the afternoon sun. It's weird huh, especially me plays wearing 2 shirts. It's hot, really, but I enjoy it.

Later, follow my teacher, Ms Lim's car to her house for a small farewell party. She has resign her job as teacher to work in a friend's company, that's what she told us. The party went pretty well, though not many classmates turn out for the party. Oh Ms Lim is my class' form teacber last year so we've decided to celebrate with her. We've ordered pizza for the party.


The card we made for her, thanks to my class' Yee Von. She's good in doing this, her mother was my art teacher back in primary school...

Well, wish Ms Lim will be doing a better job in her new post, also no need to be so stress compare to teaching in school. Heh

Practise makes perfect

Now I discovered that trigonometry is a little bit tricky than what I previously thought of. I'm having a little problem to solve the trigonometry identity questions...

Sin² X + Cos² X = 1
1 + Tan² X = Sec² X
1 + Cot² X = Cosec² X

These 3 formulas can really keep me occupied for some time just to get the exact answer.
I really need lots of exercise to get use to this topic. I dont really think this is the most difficult part of AddMath, I'm not so good in calculus though.

Chemistry lesson, we're having thermochem experiments today. I'm having trouble with my nose whenever I'm doing the experiments. My nose seems to be sensitive to the chemical substances. Exothermic and Endothermic, hmm....

There is still long long way to go to master all the topics. It's just about 4 months to go to the final exam.... Oh well, I've to work harder from now on, dont want to disappoint anyone that believe in me!!

School Bullies

Recently school bullies news are making headlines in most of local newspapers. Well, right now we're waiting the official press release made by the MoE. Once again proven that our education system is facing a serious problem here.

I've previously blogged about the first case recorded video, but now it has been removed from YouTube.

Sigh.... what's going wrong with our school education system? This has proven that the moral and sivic studies we're learning now are useless, it doesnt have the effect like what those from MoE planned. Wasted, I guess they should improvise the whole system all over again. A major reset for MoE's system huh.

Report Card

Tomorrow is the day parents goto school to collect report card for students. My mom's collecting for me. She'll have to pause from her work for awhile to come to my school to collect it. I suppose she'll be in her uniform, kinda eye-catching as she's wearing all-whites.

Regarding my results, some of the subjects improved, but some dropped.
This time I'm doing pretty well in languages. Scored more than 70 in each papers.

I'm still not good enough in science subjects, although the result came close to 70....
Mathematics, still acceptable.

I did not fail any of the papers I had, but I did badly in some of the papers.

Add Math
It's a real killer, like what I've mentioned earlier. If you're good, then you're good. If not, things will be ugly.

Moral
Stupid subject, but still have to face it. This time the teacher's marking is so strict, cost me lots of points in the overall result. Sigh, I miss last year's Moral teacher, Mdm Tan SL.

History
The teacher is like a robot, he mark the papers just as what the answer provided by the MoE. Damn, why cant be be more reasonable in giving marks? Is there any difference between Portugese and Portugal?(I've trouble with this Q). Sigh.... miss Chandran's lesson....

11/34, I dont think my parents will nag me with my standing in the class. The standing doesnt mean my overall performance, it's just like a competition with classmates.

As I mention earlier in my post, today's another time I walk onto the stage to collect a prize. No a big deal, this is what the prize look like...

Stage

Monday, I'm going to set my foot on the stage, again. This time, collecting my prize for school English essay competition.
This isnt the first time for me though, I've been walking up to the stage almost every years. Some thoughts I'd like to share with the world....

The stage, especially school stage, can be a hall of fame, and also a hall of shame.

It take courage for a person to talk on the stage, whether it's for fame or shame.

You feel proud, when students cheer for you.
You feel shame, when students boo at you.

Everytime I step onto the stage recieve my award, I feel proud, even if the other students arent cheering or appaulse.
Smile at the principal, shake hand, take my award, thank him, then walk down the stage.
This happen in just a few seconds, and it's enough to let everyone knows you better, how good you are.

Some of my friends are always on the list for recieving awards, some of them, are numb of getting onto the stage over and over again. For some, they treasure this oppoturnity and hope that they can get more awards in the future.

Well, I might sound abit arrogant, but that's just a darkside of myself.
The school will he having another competition very soon, it's about computer and I want to claim the prize once in for all.

Learning is a Part of Life

AddMath, today learnt about trigonometry graphs.



I've just learnt the function graph of sinus, cosinus and tangen. The cot, cosec & sec is not in my book yet.

There's similarities in both sinus and cosinus graphs, as well as a few difference. The basic function graph looks like this.

y = sin x


y = cos x


Stil got some h'work for this topic I need to finish up. The graphs is kinda tricky especially when there's fraction(eg, ½) in the function.

Chinese lesson, today Mdm CPC's asking us to transfer a dialouge into an article. So the dialouge is about a father and daughter, discussing the daughter's career. Well, when it comes to this kind of topics, Mdm CPC will have lots of ideas and thoughts to share with us.

She said, back in 70s or 80s, many people from countryside would dream of working in big cities, such as KL.
She said, some parents encourage their children(now adult) to gamble their fate to leave their hometown, while some conservative parents kept their children within their hometown, as they think going somewhere new to explore is a risky game to play as they think working in hometown is the best choive.

For me, I'd say going out to explore the world is a challenge, yet everyone must at least try it. I believe youngsters nowdays are keen to goto somewhere new, no matter it's another city, or another country. I've been to few countries and understand the concept of exploring the new world.

Moving out from own territory is not an easy thing to do for some people, and of course, there is a risk of trying luck out there.
History records shows that it isnt easy for people to migrate to a new environment, take an example of Hijrah in Islam. No, I'm not a Muslim but this is a common knowledge for Malaysians because our country's official religion is Islam.

Our class' exam ranking was announced today. Although I did improve a little in some subjects, but everyone else' improving. I manage to get near Top 10, well, the nearest to Top 10, 11 that is. If only I could squeeze more marks from some of the papers, I think I've better chance to hop into the Top 10. 11 out of 34, consider average. Hmm.... I'm confident I can get better marks in the real exam.

Again, I told some lame jokes in Haniza's BM class. She doesnt mind my sarcastic comments, that's good, classmates are enjoying too. Nowdays I've turn into a lame-joker, and my target is Haniza. Heheh.

Someone from the English Language Society notify me I'm recieving an award next Monday, from the English Essay Competition my school held quite some time ago.
My position? I dunno but I hope I can get another folder, just like 2 years ago from the same occasion. That time I've won the 2nd place, no idea for this time though. We'll see on next Monday.

After school, GAME ON!!
Football, of course is my first choice game. Manage to play through most of the games. Assist 1 goal, scored nil. Not bad for today, but I've sprained my ankle. It still hurts now, I'll just have to be more careful next time...

Some changes, I suppose?

I think, it's time I change my blogging style. If I keep on blogging like a diary, I guess I wont have much space to improve myself. And, it's quite hard to write everyday's life as I need to spend some time writing it.

From now on, I'll write about what I've learnt in a day, as a part of my revision for the upcoming exam in November. To write about what I learnt in a day is worth than my dull life, as it's not so profitable to my G Adsense.

I guess I'll start my 1st "brand new" style writing, in the next post bout what I've gain today.

This is the card students recieved to collect fund for our school's jogathon. This reminds me of my primary school, using the same thing for fund-raising while I'm still a little kiddo.
If anyone lost this card, they'll have to pay the penalty of RM 150. Aikz, I rather get a new shoe or original computer game!!

Better Than Expected

Finally, after so many months of waiting, we're having our 4th physical edu lesson. But, the lesson was shorten for half an hour, because the chinese orchestra and St Johns are promoting their upcoming mini concert. I'm very angry because they drag on for such a long time to finish the whole show. I cursed alot while waiting the show to finish. Seriously, if they did it on the other day I'll praise them but this time they did the wrong thing at the wrong moment. :
Ok, so I still have 30 mins of play time. Grab the football, play on my own. Training shooting and dribbling skills, not so bad as I didnt kick a ball properly for months. Kicking the ball also a stress-reliever, after yesterday's clash.

Math, 3A's teaching's new chapter. I'm trying my best to concentrate in her class now. Today she talk about Earth coordination, I still can remember this topic very well because I've learnt it in Geo 2 years ago.

Another 2 blank lessons, Ms Siah havent came back from her course. She's coming back tomorrow. Exhausted from earlier game, took a quick nap.

BM lesson, another wonderful performance by the entertainer teacher, Haniza. Although she's talking nonsense all the time, at least I still can learn something from her. Scored A2 for BM, yay!

What I really concern today is, the additional Geo class after school. I have to attend the class to avoid anymore clash with LOP.
Suprisingly, the class went pretty smoothly, she's not in her bad moon so we're all safe, for now.

Interesting Bio lesson under Dr Haresh's tuition class. Now we're in the chapter where students will giggles while reading this chapter. Yes, this is something most teenagers familiar, sexuality stuff.

A person that could ruin everything

Yawn, have another unpleasent sleep last night, still in sleepy mood in school today.

Chinese lesson, learning a classic article, nothing too special as I've learnt this few years ago.

Bio lesson, completing last weeks' PEKA. Everything went pretty smoothly.

History lesson, I decided to attend Sulhan's class eventhough I dont really like the way he mark our paper. Well, Chun Meng from S2 ask me goto his class to meet with Ms Lee OP, the person that could ruin everything in me.

I did not show up for her Geo class for this year, felt that I'll be stressful when attend her class, I rather study Geo all by myself.
When I enter the class before she can talk anything, the clock in the class falls from the wall, not a good omen.
She asked me why I'm having such bad attitude for not attending her class, I tried to explain that I prefer study by myself, than she lash out everything saying that she's giving free classes for us while she still have lots of works to do in school, and also holding 2 post in MoE, bla bla bla.... The class just felt silent.

The boys arent in the class, only the girls. Sigh... I felt ashamed being defame so badly in front of girls... but I guess most of them understand LOP's attitude. I've been very cool without losing my temper, I tried to reason with her and failed, so I just stand there listen to her scolding, and then get myself out of the class when she shouted get out.
Gee.... tomorrow I still have to attend her class though, I guess I'll hear some harsh words from her mouth again tomorrow. :(

Although I've been lashed badly by the witch, I'm just cool and didnt really bother. I continue my History lesson and I enjoyed today's lesson. The history of the forming of Malaysia, nice.

4 blank lessons, finish off my chinese homework and sleep for awhile til the bell rangs.

Hmm..... I really dont want to attend tomorrow's Geo class, but I guess I've no choice but to attend the class. I hate it.

Although I dislike LOP most of the time, but I stil respect her as a teacher so I dont really want to talk anything bad bout her. Just in case, someone spread this blog and she knew someone's stabbing her on the net, she'll be very mad at me.

I wonder, her neuron cells in her brain arent dying? According to my Bio teacher, those who lost temper easily will have neuron problems after some time. Whenever someone loses temper, the temper will kill some of the neuron cells, which cant be replaced. When the neuron cells decreased, so do the person's mentality. LOP has been so crazy for so many years alrdy, amazingly her mental is still very sharp in terms of "killer instinct". :S

School's becoming funnier these days

Monday, school assembly. Today's weather is rather dull than the usual bright morning sunlight at 8am. The principal, Mr Chu's speech is rather unusual today. First of all he starts with saying how good is the students, and promise he as the principal will try his best to provide better environments for students to study.
Actually, he's trying to ask us for some donation, the school's having a jogathon on mid-August, students will have to participate the fund-raising activity to collect money.
This strongly reminds me of a similiar fund-raising campaign I had back in primary school. I think many students also done this before so this will be familiar.
Mr Chu spent almost 45 mins just to tell us about this!

Add Math lesson, starting to like Trigonometry. It looks easy, but without proper exercise, this can be a killer.

Chemistry starts another new chapter, thermochem. Endotermic & exotermic, stil have to learn more to master this topic.

2 empty Eng lessons, Ms Siah are having course til Wednesday. Spent this time finish up Moral project, something only morons would really do. Yea, I'm a moron.

BM lesson, Haniza finally gave us back our paper, phew~ Manage to bag in an A2 for BM. Yeah!!!

Going back home by bus, this time got big Yeo following me. He ask me want to get a driving license. I wanted to get a license too, but I think I better ask my father or sis teach me the basic before I really take the test.
We talk about the World Cup later on, and before we leave we bet the Ukraine VS Saudi Arabia match. I bet Ukraine will win more than 2 goals, giving big Yeo 1.5 ball handicap. We bet for RM 1, though.

Today rewatch "I Not Stupid Too", manage to copy down the details of the blog the boy's using in the movie.

The boy, Tom's blog is hosted under CampusMoBlog, a Singapore-based blogging service for teenagers.
I'm interested in the service and tried to sign up one account, but it seems the service is only for Singaporeans and have to validate the registration through mobile phone(it's a moblog after all).

What is Campus MoBlog?

Campus MoBlog (www.campusmoblog.com.sg) is an initiative by SingTel to provide students and schools with a one-stop portal for them to learn, exchange and share ideas and experiences across the various schools.

Seriously, what I learn from my friends is that they treat computer as a tool for games and chat, there's stil a lot of things we can learn through computer, Internet, but sadly, not many of them realise this....

My mother has 6th sense?

Today she told me about a funny dream she had last night. She dreamt my eldest sis got a job offer at China, so today she phoned my sis and told her about the dream. Coincidently, my sis just came back from a job interview and she has been accepted.

Both of them laugh through the phone, and sis says my mother even dreamt bout her coming back to KL earlier during last year's CNY as my sis planned to make a suprise return.

Just now chatted with both sis on MSN, they joked we dont need to use anything else to deliver message, my mom's dreams are so accurate and even can predict the future. Hahah....

Just Nice

I need some laugh today, seriously. Although today's a fine day for me, but I think I'm lack of laughing matter. Can someone cheer me up?

Today everything seems to went on smoothly. I've not much complains other than my exam results.

Nowdays have to wear tie again in the morning, to avoid being charged by the teacher as monitors are asked to wear tie. Because of certain briefings, I'm late for my Moral project brefing. Hmm.... gotta hand over the troublesome by next Friday.

Chinese lesson listen to Mdm Chek's stories again.
AddMath lesson, finalised my +Math results, near 50% from the total marks. Disappointing, but I'm determind to concentrate 100% to master this subject. And, tomorrow we're gonna start trigonometry lesson tomorrow.

Having quite a good time at library today chat with friends today during recess. Another day I emptied my stomach.

Finalised Chemistry paper. Not so bad after all, but I expect to get better marks. Well.... stil got lots of things to learn in Chemistry.

History, Sulhan is like a robot who do not accept any other logical answers other than the answer sheets provided by the MoE. Stupid, MoE's answers also having lots of problem, still.... Sulhan rather follow the answers blindly and do not want to investigate the questions. Sigh, I miss Chandran's history lesson now. :(

Physic is another killer this time, I just hope it doesnt get as bad my +Math then.

Went to tuition, was informed that Chemistry teacher was away for course so today's class was canceled. Good, I can get back home earlier to relax abit. :)

Trigonometry identifications, just have to replace and solve the question. Looks tough, but actually it's not that hard as what I thought. Since the exam provides the formula sheet so I think it is stil OK for me to coup it.

What's next? Tomorrow's Friday, another day for me to kill time playing football, if the juniors did bring football tomorrow. Few months didnt kick a ball, desperate....

Mr moon/banana sleeping.

Looks like I'm lack of idea to think of a suitable title today. Having not enough sleep causes negative effects on a person, and I'm suffering from the effect right now.

Arghh.... ystrdy have to sacrifice watch World Cup to finish my homework and then off to bed. Luckily, I can sleep soundly last night. But then it's stil not enough for me.... 7 hours lying on the bed like dead man.

Heard a classmate of mine lost RM 9 from betting. He chose France will win the game but in the end it's just a draw game. Funnily, the bookie is actually another classmate who's just sitting so close to him. Ironic...

Right, so having Biology experiment today.
Everyone are born from different variations of genetics, that's what I learnt today. Talk about common sense huh.

The rest of the lessons after recess are boring. Ms Siah's back from her course but she havent give back our English papers.

I was "shot" badly when Haniza steps into my class for BM lesson. She says I'm stil weak in essay-writing and want to have an additional class. I was, WTF?!? After compare to the points she gave, I dont really think I did so badly in the essay-writing, but stil I'm suspense because I dunno what do I get for my BM essay. She havent give back the papers, yet.
Gee.... I dunno when we'll get back our paper. She has bad records for delaying exam papers and also losing exam papers.

I'm stil very tired now.... Tomorrow have to struggle til 5.30pm, I guess have to sacrifice to watch Spain VS Ukraine today. :(

Disturbed

I'm struggling every night these few days, I'm very tired but I just cant fall into sleep like everyone else does. Ystrdy night, I went to bed 11.30pm, but couldnt sleep til 1.30am. I have to take "music-therapy" from my mp3 player to put myself asleep.

This morning's having headache when wake up.... dunno how I can goto school like this. Thankfully, everything went well after I reach school. 2nd day father send me to school, tomororw have to follow the teacher's car again to school.

Funny order from Ms Hiew, she asked us monitors to wear the red tie from tomorrow onwards or she'll withraw our service cert at the end of the year. Yawn... hate wearing the red tie, reminds me of primary school prefect. I prefer PP's yellowish tie though.

To my suprise, I did quite well for my Chinese and Bio paper. Although I came close to an A, stil I'm confident I can do better in the REAL exam. Modern Math? Well I wondered if I've improved or not. This year the teacher 3A's really mess up everything in Math.

Heard tommorow we're having another Bio experiment, about Variations. When I heard of that, I think of Maksim's 2nd album, "Variations". Heh.

After recess, lots of free time, manage to take a quick nap that time, but too bad was disturbed by someone else in the class. Oh well....

Having computer class after school, but funny the class was forced to cancel because of electricity problem. I'm lucky to finish all the assignments in time. Those sitting besides me will know how crazy when I type the codes.... I'm rushing.

Back to School

Back to school....


So today marks the end of the 2 weeks holiday. Back to school and meet with friends, good stuff. It's nice to see everyone again. :D

As what I expected, the school admin's announcement must have something to do with the World Cup, advise us not to bet/gamble the game and also dont want to affect our studies by watching the game. Hahaha.... once in every 4 years event, surely everyone(the fans) are excited for the big game.

So today teachers gave back the exam papers back. Sigh.... stil cant argue with the teacher bout Moral's marks.

+Math? Die this time.... no luck. I might get half from the full mark, grade decreased. It's weird.... I manage to do well in all the chapters I know, but then the others I've either leave it blank or stuck in the middle of the calculation. Sigh.... Not that I'm so bad in this, but really have to depends the questions. Have to work harder this term.

I'm delighted with my Chemistry marks, at least I can get around 65 or something. My Paper I manage to save my Paper II & III. Will have to keep on the good work for this subject then.

Heard the news that my former class teacher, Ms Lim GH will be resigning this month. Abit disappointed, she's such a good teacher, but she left for better purposes so wish her all the best. We're making a card today to give her later.

Kinda bored in class, especially the last few periods when the teachers are absent. Boring, having nothing to do in the class.....

Dinner at Saujana Subang

Since the father's day is just few weeks ahead, my family decided to have a buffet dinner at the Saujana Subang restaurant to celebrate with my maternal grandfather. We went there with my aunt, on the road is quite jam, especially at the Federal Highway.



Anyway, I've weel-prepared for this meal. I didnt eat much for lunch so..... lots of capacity in my stomach!! :D

Mmm... the buffet is nice, lots of nice stuff like salmon sashimi, oyster, unagi(eel).... etc. I must say, everything I ate are heavenly. Not that I didnt eat these before but the taste is very good.

Oh England won Paraguay by 1-0, from an own goal. How funny.... I didnt watch the match so dont really know how's the players playing. Rooney isnt playing huh....

Germany 4 - 2 Costa Rica

Yes!! The World Cup has begin!!!
I bet lots of ppl would sacrifice sleeping time to watch the first match of the tournament. The host nation, Germany VS the central America country, Costa Rica.
Many favour the Germans but do not under-estimate the Costa Ricans, they're quite good to suprise the world.

So... GMT+8 0000, kick off!!

No need to wait for long time for the first goal. Lahm, the German left back blast the ball into the top corner of the goal from the edge of the penalty box. Executed to the perfection!

Also, we dont really need to wait too long for the second goal. After a smart play by the Costa Rica players to play Paulo Wanchope, the ace man to run through 4 defenders and score past Lehmann. Bad defense by the Germans.

The German scores the 3rd goal of the game by Miroslav Klose, who normally scores with his head. I like this guy very much, because of him I tried to learn how to head the ball properly. This time we scores with this left foot from Bastian S7's pass.

After the 2nd half, the Germans struck again. Podolski's cross from the left finds Klose to head on target, and then converting the goal with this right foot. 2nd goal for Klose on his birthday. Yay. Was looking foward for him to score hat-trick like what he did during WC 2002 againts Saudi Arabia.

Then again, Wanchope struck to make the game 3-2. Yet again, 4 defenders cannot stop the dangerous striker. Do a feint and shot pass Lehmann. Game on.

But just few minutes before the final wistle, Bastian S7 make a wonderful past to Frings from freekick and Frings blast the ball into the net in style. Very very beautiful shot, so far away from the penalty box, really is a rocket ball.

End of the game, Germany 4, Costa Rica 2.

Bad defend by the Germans, but I can see Costa Rica play better with other teams.

World Cup Fever!!

That's it!! Everyone's gone crazy for the biggest sporting event on Earth!! I will be glued to the TV from now on, instead of computer. Hahah!!

Well, I'm rooting for 4 teams this time.

Brazil
Yeah, the Samba's playing very entertaining attacking style, as usual.
I'd like to see which team can stop Brazil's attacking line, Ronaldo, Adriano, Ronaldinho, Kaka. And yea, almost all players in Brazil team can go on attacking anytime, except the keeper.

Germany
No matter where the team plays, the best is play at home ground. Germans want to defend their national pride, 'eh?
Ballack the midfield mastermind, with S7(Scwenstinger or whatever), Borowski, the German's Panzer can go on destroying many teams. We'll see.

Netherlands
The "Brazil of Europe". Very nice attacking gameplay with some of the most promising youngsters playing in the foward. I think the Oranges can proceed to the final 16.

England
With their warm up match performance, even without Rooney, I'm quite sure this time England can go better than last WC.
The midfielders are the key, also their defense are quite tough. The fowards, with the current form I guess it's not a prob for the England team.

I predicted either Brazil or Germany, one of them will goto the final of the finals. Who knows?
