Albums I've bought in Taiwan

You know, I love music, but only minority of my friends like the type of music I like. In my trip to Taiwan, I've hooked some nice albums there. The album price at Taiwan is cheaper than Malaysia, but not much difference.

List of albums I've bought.

Ryuichi Sakamoto "Heartbeat"
I bought this CD at CKS International Airport before I head home to KL. My sisters like this artist, so I bought this album for them.

Enya "Amarantine"
This consider a good bargain, convert to MYR is just about RM 37. I like Enya's music, and I'm proud to get this album as her first album into my collection.

五月天 "知足"
Sis ask me get this artist's album, so I get this for her. Another good bargain, this one comes with 2 audio CD + 1 live performance DVD. Cost less than RM 40.

The Essential Maksim DVD
Haha! Finally bought this album listed in my "Most Wanted" collection. Err.... cost around RM 50, but it comes with the "Variations" CD and the DVD. I got Variations alrdy, so I might give it to a friend?

星座水晶情 Horoscope Crystal Love
Cost about RM 30. This relaxing album comes with 2 CDs, features songs for each horoscope. The song represents Pieces are Titanic theme and Somewhere In Time(a song Maksim played in his album).

汽车广告金曲 Golden Car Ad Music
Quite weird why I get this album? The reason is because it's very cheap!! Only RM 10 like that! The song in this album are qutie nice too.

雪山飞胡
I get this album for about RM 30 at Hualien. The artist himself are performing, so I decide to get one. He claims to be the first Taiwanese aboriginal that becomes world-class er-hu(二胡) performer. Quite nice, but u know er-hu usually plays sad music....

迷幻天堂 Fantasia In Heaven
A New-Age type album I get when the album is having discount. Also about RM 10, comes with 2 CDs. Right now I play this album when I'm sleeping, it's so enjoying and relaxing.....

圣诞奇幻夜 Amazing Christmas Party
I bougth this Xmas CD at a Science Center in Tanchung. I like the song so I bought this album. Cost about RM 13, another good bargain.

********
If I've enough money, I'm definitely will get more CDs!! XD

Because it's very dark when we reach there, so I couldnt get photos over there. :(

Taiwan PhotoBlog

After this post, I'll blog my trip in Taiwan using PhotoBlog. Stay tune!

Taiwan - Hong Kong - Kuala Lumpur

That's the journey I've been through ystrdy. Reach KL safe and sound at 10.30pm.
Lots of things happen when I was over there, and I've got lots of things to blog about, but it'll take times.
For now I'll probably process photos, and then upload it to my Flickr.

Stay tune!! ;)

24 December 2005

Few more days to go....

Good morning, I'm now blogging at ZhengHao Hotel in TaiChung, going back to Taipei today. :)

The weather.... is hard to say. One day, it can be very cold down to 3'C, and another day it can be as hot as 27'C, it's.... hard to predict.
Sorry my language is getting lousier these days because quite some time I didnt blog.

Currently I'm trying to control my money output, scare I'll end up pk(no money). Things like CDs, books over here are quite cheap, probably few Ringgits, or even more than RM 10!!

Tuesday night I'll be back in KL, dunno wheter I have the energy to online huh?

Anyway, I've bought few nice CDs and I'll share it to my friends when I get back.

Merry Christmas!!!

Blogging from Taiwan

Right now, I'm blogging from the Sony Centre in Taipei 101. Heheh, I wont miss a chance to use free net whenever I can!! :P

I've met lots of friends here, and experience different cultural and lifstyle of ppl over here.

Since this is a public computer, I'm limited with the usage of net over here. I cant run Web Messenger, too bad. :
I kinda like this city, and I've spend 50% of my tour over here. Heh, kinda scare I spent too much over here. My financial source is limited, so gotta be really careful.

Taipei has many common factors compare to KL. My first impression, is like KL in total chinese. Taiwanese are creative and innovative to make things more interesting and better, which makes me respect their spirit.

TW is famous for it's food, isnt it? I like their food too, but not too much. There's a night market near the place I stay, a famous night market in Taipei features food, cloths, and entertainment.
I dont really like that market, because it's almost the samne. Food, arcade games, cloths.... etc. All the shops and stalls are repeatition. I'll blog more about this later when I get back.

They say, Taiwan got alot pretty girls, sorry to say but 90% of the girl I seen over here are faaaaaaaaaaar worse than girls in KL. Maybe I'm too use of seeing KL girls huh? But at least in my tour there's lots of pretty SYTs. :D
My team has the most girls in the team, about 2/3 girls in 32 person.

I'll stop my post here. Will be back next.... 2 weeks? See if I'm free, I'll online at 27 night, mid-night I guess. Then, I shall continue my stories in Taiwan, as well as photos I've taken.

'til then, enjoy holiday my friend in Malaysia. B)

05 December 2005

Before I leave for Taiwan

Firstly, I've activated my Maxis Global Roaming, so I'll be free to call back anytime, though I'll be charged RM 2.50/min. Luckily SMS wont kill me so much, RM 0.50/sms. :)

Too bad my phone dont have those high-tech functions like online or so... if not I'll be able to online, or at least get in touch with friends or blogs... etc.

Secondly, for those who're interested in the trip I'm going, you can goto KuanMooTuan.org(观摩团) to check for the updates, and get info you want about the trip from there.

Actually I'll be flying to Taiwan Wednesday, so tomorrow I will still be in KL, but far away from home.

Missed Maksim by few days!!

A NEW WORLD:【最新公告】20051121

Damn!! I dont think I can meet Maksim in Taiwan when I get there!!

Going to Taiwan

I'll be away, from 6th Dec ~ 27th Dec, that is 3 weeks. I've signed up for youth-exchange-like activity organized by Taiwan embassy. The tour is called 台湾观摩团(dunno how to translate into Eng). I WILL be going by myself, with strangers.... totally different than last year's holiday in China.

But.... I'm not so satisfy with certain things about this tour.
  • 3 weeks, that's too long!! I wouldnt complain if this tour starts at the end of Nov or earlier, but when I get back here, I've only less than 1 week to settle down everything, especially new school term.

  • I planned to study in Dec, but parents insist I go for the tour this year, so..... I had to agree with them eventhough I've tried to reason with them.

  • But anyway, this looks like a cool trip though. 3 weeks over there, I'll mainly stay in a youth activity centre hosted by China Youth Corps. For 10 days, I'll be staying in ChienTan Oversea Youth Activity Centre (劍潭海外青年活動中心). That youth centre looks cool though.

I hardly can imagine I'll be living without Internet for 3 weeks.... no e-mails, no blogs, no MSN, nothing at all.
This is my schedule while I'm over there.
    Tw trip_1

I just hope I wont get into trouble by losing important things, which haunted me few months ago.

I will be arriving at Malaysia on 27 Dec, 10pm. I think I'll only reach home around 12am. After bath and settle down my stuff, I maybe will online awhile, but I'm pretty sure I'm exhausted from the flight(unless I sleep on the plane), so maybe I'll take a good rest and came online on the next day.

I think this will be the last post for this blog before I leave, so I will miss Malaysia very much.... :(

P/S: Not sure wheter I can get Internet access over there, though I read few activity centres DO have Internet access, but dunno is there any com for me to use 'eh?

    Primary School Gathering 2005

As what I've posted in my Friendster blog earlier, ystrdy was my primary school's annual class gathering.

Like most of the time, not everyone present, and only 17 out of 50 classmates attend the gathering, what a shame! But anyway, ystrdy's gathering was different, I think this is better than last year's failure at Sungei Wang.

At 6pm, I and another friend Chuan Boon waited friends infront of our primary school...

    Primay SchoolPrimay School

After 30 mins, almost everyone are present, but I've to wait for 1 more friend to come. I actually wanted to wait for him because I'll let the others settle the BBQ fire first and when I go there we can start alrdy.

We reach our friend's house at 7pm, but we could only start BBQ around 8pm++. Err... I think we wasted alot the food, though firstly it looks delicious to eat but no one mantain the BBQ....
    BBQBBQ

We are charged RM 14 for the food, and I've manage to eat 2 chicken wings, mee, and sausages. Worth the price? Definitely no!!

After eating, we chit-chat untill 10.30pm, then we went to mamak stall continue chat. Time passed so fast, it's time to go home. While waiting my father come fetch me, I got the chance to have a sneak peek at my friend's breakdance training centre. Kinda cool see those ppl twisting their body do lots of stunt. :)

They say, everyone changed, and hardly can remember each other. For me, I still can remember everyone of them, and it is great to meet them again!

    Group photo

P/S: While at the mamak stall drinking, I've watched Bolton Wonderers trash Arsenal with 2 goals. Talk about bad defending by Arsenal, hahaha!!
