Rainy Days

It has been raining consequtively for 4 days straight since Thursday, and from the weather forecast it's likely to continue until tomorrow (Monday), then sunshine returns on Tuesday.



Friday morning when I woke up I felt kinda lazy to goto school because of the bad weather. It was raining and definitely will make cycling to school more difficult than usual.

Anyhow I still chose to ride to school instead of take the train as at that time the rain is slowing down.
Wasn't a good choice, as the rain continues to rain heavily half-way. There's no turning back then so just keep cycling til I reach the school.

Although it's raining, but I still kinda enjoy cycling especially listening to some techno tunes, or something uplifting. I know it is dangerous to listen while cycling, but I just love to do so. :P

When I'm commuting to the school, I prefer to listen to some technos such as SoundTemp or DJ Tiesto to keep me awake, or maybe a few energetic pieces in the player.
On the way back, I tend to listen to some relaxing tunes, pianos, instrumentals or new age to unwind my brain after a day in school. Thus, I don't feel exhausted cycling. :)

Observe

I noticed that I'm kinda observative, analyse and learn the nature of the person. Normally I do it silently so sometimes it felt like stalking lol.... but actually I'm not.

I do not do it as a habit, but rather to reflect how I felt towards certain individual's qualities. I used to be kinda quiet, not really into socialising. A little regretted and nostalgic but from there I started to learn how to analyse individuals.

For most of us we usually communicate with people through one-on-one dialogue, or in a group conversation whether it's a casual chat, forum or meeting. Depending on the tone, idea and emotion the individual expressed, we would usually evaluate a person based on those available facts.

I do find that it's not good enough to judge a person based on just one occasion. I strongly believe that everyone shows a different side of them in different kind of situations, for example being in office and at home, on and off the sports field etc.

I for one, noticed that myself tend to show some sort of talkative chracteristics at times and telling some lame jokes around as if I'm a carefree person. Mostly this applies to my general socialising.



But when I'm into sports, say football or table tennis, I usually wouldn't speak much but rather concentrate to play the game. I can be aggressive as well when I'm totally involved in it, so it's normal for me to tackle the opponent dangerously or hit the ball hardly, and I do it within my conscious. Even if the opponent is my best pal, there's no "friendly love" on the field.



At times when I need to be more serious, say attending a function or so, I will revert to my more quiet and serious mode. Those who first met me might be greeted in this mood, I guess many people had similar experience too.
I do however, can revert back to the usual talkative mode when I met someone familiar or something I'm interested in.



I learn some of these from secondary school by observing and learning from friends. Below the three of us, whom I noticed express ourselves in 3 different occasions, all which I've mentioned above.



The other 2 are brilliant individuals by their own rights. Each of them know how to handle their different identities well on different occasions, which is why I get along well with them.

Another observation, I noticed that sometimes when people are too kind-hearted, others will take advantage on them. Once or twice may be OK, but unfortunately some people would just abuse it, as if they're suppressing the weaker.
That's why some of my friends are kinda pissed but helpless at times when they're being used by others.
For some, "extreme measures" may be used in such circumstances, which includes violence.

I think some of us might have experience it before, you're being stepped upon by someone else, and one day when the patience limit reached, you break down, and all hell break lose.
Sometimes, you just never want to see the collateral damage that would inflict upon the surroundings, it can be very scary.



Some might regret taking such action, while some shows no sign of remorse. Either way, you make it very clear that you're not someone should mess with, or left some irreversible scar on someone.
Careful one must be, to control the outburst of rage and the aftermath.

Through all the things that I've been through, I slowly settle down to be someone who doesn't really get angry easily, and seldomly dislike someone for a long period of time.

Once a wiseman taught me, not to get upset on things others done that has nothing to do with you, not worth the effort to get angry with it, especially something you have no control of.



Positive thinking in life is a key. Try start to see the bright side of someone, slowly convert the feeling of hatred to neutral, and let the feeling goes on naturally. It's always a good thing to have an additional friend, than having an enemy.

Everyone lives a unique life that only exclusive to themselves. Remember, we live this life only for once, so try to enjoy as much as you can than you regret.

Now the another piece of puzzle had been found, it's just a matter of time before I complete the overall puzzle of life~

A rather simple essay which talks about my family. Was quite happy that I did fewer mistakes this time! :D

P/S: Those who can read Chinese might as well get more or less what the essay says, don't really need Japanese's language knowledge!



私の家族

私の家族は五人です。両親と姉が二人います。今両親はマレーシアのクアラルンプールに住んでいます。

父は今年５４歳になりました。新聞社で働いています。新聞社の部長です。毎日、１時間ぐらいかけて新聞社に通いっています。朝早く起きますから、７時半ごろ新聞社に着きます。父はスポーツが好きです。色々なスポーツができます。父がバドミントンとピンポンと水泳を教えてくれました。そして、スポーツの番組も好きです。おもしろい試合がある時、テレビを見ます。

母も５４歳になりました。去年病院の仕事を止めましたから、今うちにいます。母は親切で優しい人です。毎日家族にご飯を作ります。母は人形を集めることが好きです。外国旅行するとき、すてきな人形を買って、うちに置きます。母はいつも掃除したり、飾ったりしていますから、うちはきれいになります。

一番目の姉は今年２７歳になりました。北京大学を出て、北京の会社で働いています。外国で仕事しますから、時々国へ帰ります。姉は料理が上手です。中華料理と西洋料理が作れます。姉が作った料理はおいしいです。

二番名の姉はことし２４歳になりました。今ロンドンの大学で勉強しています。姉は中国の上海へ留学したことがあぃます。ロンドンの大学出たら、ヨーロッパの会社で働きたいです。姉は色々な音楽が好きですから、私に音楽CDを買ってくれました。

私の家族はおもしろくて、親切です。でも時々静かです。今年から私は日本へ留学していますから、国へ帰ることができません、残念です。

H1N1 in Tokyo?

Words had spread, the notorious Influenza type A is indeed, reaches the shores of Tokyo. From what I vaguely heard, a high school student was tested positive.
The case broke out somewhere near Kawasaki, if not mistaken south-west of Tokyo, 1 hour+ train ride from Shinjuku.

The Japanese had high consciousness when it comes to contagious diseases, especially flu. Just briefly after the first case is confirmed near Tokyo, very soon those mask supplies available in so many shops in Tokyo has been walloped by the public.

Today I accompanied my friend tried to get the mask supply, we've been to many convenience shops, pharmacies or department stores, all of them are running out of stock.

Few weeks ago I was down with flu (normal one) and coughing so I put on the mask for a period of time as it's a norm the Japanese do so too when you're having flu or cough, to prevent spread it to others.



Now I find myself funny that the timing of me wearing the mask.

I wear it when I can actually don't need to, but from this week onwards I stopped to put on the mask. Now that H1N1 had just struck, everyone is fighting for the mask to wear, so it'll be a little weird everyone is put on mask except for myself.

Japanese are damn crazy.... have a look at this pic.



A pack of surgical masks usually cost 1k yen (100 pieces), but since now the demand surpasses the supply greatly, so the price went skyrocket. 100k yen!!! (RM 3,600)

If you do simple maths, that will be like 1k yen (RM 36) for a piece of mask!!
As crazy as it seems to be, but there's someone actually willing to buy it!!! O_O

Anyhow, I'll take care of myself, so don't worry about me here. :)

Hello people, I'm still here as usual but had nothing to write.

Well I DO have something to write, kinda long topic to talk about so will only write in depth about it during the weekend.

It's something about my oversations on human attitudes.... Gonna share my discovery here.  :)

Ikebukuro

Sunday the good senior Mr Fan WT brought us to Ikebukuro 池袋 for lunch buffet, and shopping as well.

Ikebukuro is such a nice shopping district, somehow I had the urge to buy things although normally I don't shop much.

Couldn't resist myself but bought 3 T-shirts for 3,150 yen. Or so they said, better regret buying than regret not buying, heh.

Our main mission of the day, buffet lunch at a Thai food restaurant. Kinda hidden from the main streets so someone had to lead us to this restaurant.

Priced at 950 yen, you can order one of the 5 main dishes on the menu, and then free-flow side dishes on the buffet panel.


Went to wallop first round while waiting for the main dish to come. Mesmerizing Thai food.... sour and spicy!

Friends and the deco.


Thai food suits Malaysian's appetite so we find the dishes familiar to our liking. Indeed a hearty meal as we're able to taste the something that resembles from home.

Krua Bangkok Thai food, worth to visit it again to carve for some Thai food.
Very happy can tasted food that is spicy enough for Malaysian's standard, I sweat when I eat the food which is a good sign for it's spiciness lol.


We walked awhile, and somehow we're attracted by this Toyota showroom unit so we decided to check it out. Little did we know that the showroom actually took up the whole building which consist of 5 floors.

Actually we step in because of this lol.... car simulator.

It's not the normal track race, but rather off-road rally race. If not mistaken I'm like driving a unit of Harrier or maybe the RAV4.

Surely it looks kinda old-fashion, kinda 1970's design but this is the pride of Toyota.
Will be looking forward for 3rd gen of this car to roll out, to better fit in 21st century's taste.


If you may have noticed, some of the pics are in 16:9 ratio. I took those pics with my phone as my Canon IXY ran out of battery. Not bad I would say, perhaps is the only good thing I can talk about my phone lol.

Visited the arcade to have a little fun. :P

I had bad luck playing this hahah.... so I rather spend a bit of entertainment on the gashapon. Back in Malaysia we usually call it "twist the egg" 转鸡蛋 lol.


Well at least I got something here.... Cute accessories worth 200 yen, got 10 of these.

Ikebukuro is a real nice place to shop at, so next time if you got the chance to come here, better spare extra cash and remember to bring along credit card eh....
