2010 March 23, day trip in Tokyo with Calvin, Kai Cung & Shei Pien.
First stop, Harajuku (原宿), a place you must bring your female companion (specifically, before mid-age).
Chocolate crepe as dessert. <3 it!
Tokyo Dome City near Korakuen (後楽園), where they went to play the Thunder Dolphin roller coaster while I'm finishing my novel at the park below.
Asakusa (浅草), also another must-go destination traveling in Tokyo. Read my previous visit here.
Dinner at Bangkok Kitchen near Shinbashi (新橋), with another friend of Cung & SP.
Last stop of the night, Odaiba (お台場). One of the great places to check out nightview of Tokyo.
The night was a close one as there's been trouble in the JR lines causing service disruptions on the main train network. Luckily I took the Tokyo Metro back which was trouble-free.
Pic of Calvin them inside the crammed train they took going back to their place in Chiba.
2010 March 24, crashing at Calvin's place for house warming party.
It's a great journey as I came from Saitama, pass-through Tokyo and finally landed myself at Chiba! From west to the east!
Glorious meals prepared by Calvin!
Dessert time!
Breakfast, delicious French toast!
We had actually planned to goto Disneyland on the next day but due to bad weather, and waking up late, we'd to cancel the plan.
Later I went back to the previous hostel to catch up with Pei Ki who's alone there as most of the tenants have moved out.
This sakura tree greeted us when we first came to Japan last year, and now it's blooming again, welcoming the new batch of students.
2010 March 26, Hanami at Asukayama.
So-called hanami was forced to cancelled due to the unpredicted rain. The park needed some time before full bloom.
Crashing at Kok Wai's place, another great cook especially the sinfully delicious char-siew!
2010 March 27, Meiji Jingu (明治神宮) & Lester's farewell at Shinjuku.
Inner shrine of Meiji Jingu.
Newly-wed.
Another part of Meiji Jingu. Am amazed that there's such a large grass field close to the city! Indeed rare for Tokyo...
Sakura by the lake, and Docomo tower at the background.
Having a quick fix of sushi.
Lester's farewell at Jonathan's.
