Sushi & Haircut

After the awesome things I've done yesterday, decided to reward myself a little luxurious by having late sushi lunch with friends.

This Totoyamichi (ととやみち) is located not so far away from the hostel and I've ate here for a few times already.

Today's special, Extra Large Anago (特大あなご). It's very long and definitely one of the best anago I ever eaten so far!
Anago's similar to the popular unagi, in case you didn't notice it.


Another highlight, fresh belly part of tuna (生中トロまぐろ). Heard the fish is being sent directly from the Tsukiji Fish Market in the morning.



Another extra long item, this time is fried shrimp (特大えびフライ握り). Said to be 20cm long.



3 different Buri sushi (ぶり三種盛). One is the natural-flavoured, then a pickled and lastly teriyaki style. Buri is a seasonal fish for winter.



This a type of Aji fish (あじ) which I didn't try it before. It's being wrapped with the shiso leaf and a small slice of lemon.



This time I only post up pics of the unusual items I had today. It's kinda different when eating with friends as I won't be so choosy on the items, so might be able to try a few dishes that I normally won't be touching.

When we're done with the meal is already 4pm++. Basically we had sushi as our "lunner" (lunch + dinner).

Later in the evening, headed to the local salon to had my haircut. Don't really like my hair being too messy and long, especially when it blocks my line of sight.

This is me, before the cutting begins. Just had my head wash off with warm waters.


Nope.... this isn't my new hairstyle hahah.


Before revealing. Wrap up the head again after another warm water session.


So..... nothing to shout about eh? Kinda plain it seems as I specifically asked not to put on any wax or styling. Kinda funny to see the hairstylist's reaction on the left, he's the one who "grazed" my hair hah.

That's all for now.... only 2 months+ left before I'm getting out of Tokyo. Hmm.....
