Asakusa

Went to Asakusa 浅草 again on Monday with friends. Previously went there during the sakura period but didn't really had a good look at there because we're exhausted from the walking distance from Ueno to Asakusa.

Since I was still coughing so I ought to do it the Japanese way, by wearing a mask out lol. It's normal to see Japanese wearing a mask on the street~

Lots of people line up just to dine in this 大黒家 restaurant. Not sure what it's selling though, but must be famous.


Cucumber in stick snack! 100 yen! Delicious!!

Ordered the 480 yen 親子丼 oyako don. The only dish I like and can afford to eat lol.

The main temple. Kinda disappointed as it's under renovation! But it must be great when it's done.


Commercialised good luck charm booth. Heck, use money to exchange for a charm lost it's meaning already.


This statue dated more than 100 years ago, made during the Meiji period!


We detoured from entering the main temple and wonders around the food stalls.

All thanks to Fan who treat us this lol.... 500 yen per stick the price is steep, but for the sake to try it, worth it heh.
