2010 Mercedes Benz E class

Spotted some nice photos of the upcoming Mercedes Benz E class, which is due to be launched very soon.

Let's start things with the 3 styles Mercedes offered to the public.

The most obvious difference between the 3 models are the grille, fog-lamp & rims. Engine

When I first saw the new design of this E class, I can't help but think that this time Mercedes' following Lexus' design based on the GS model.

Previously Lexus somewhat copied Mercedes' idea from the E class 2 generations ago, but in this new generation we see that Mercedes actually adopted it from Lexus. Even the rear looks similar too!

Back to the new E class, it should be available by later this year. Whether it will sells well I dunno, because of the uncertain economy picture around the world. It should not be long before BMW announces their updated 5 series to go head-to-head with the new E class.
Interestingly, so far I didn't heard of any plans from Lexus on the new GS, but probably will retain the "dual-eye" front lamp, as it has become it's signature.

And for your additional info bout Mercedes Benz' upcoming models, there will be no CLK class in the future, instead it's being called as E class coupe, since it's based on the E class. You can expect the E class coupe looks similar to the new E class sedan, except with styling changes, more sportier and aggressive.
Will post the pics up if I can find 'em.
