Am exhausted, but very happy with the outcome. :)
* WARNING: Pictures-intensive post! *
The annual primary schoolmates gathering, as much anticipated by everyone. Same place as previous year in Steven's Corner, a little earlier at 2pm, and on Sunday.
When I reached the place with Aun Chee & Yeen Yeng, was surprised there's no electricity. I'm bringing my laptop together because wanna online through the wifi there, ah well.
Reached there somewhat 15 mins earlier than planned, well, being the organiser have to show up earlier than most people isn't it?
Slowly, the crowd begins to build up, more and more schoolmates pop out from here and there.
One thing special bout this time's gathering is the presence of a few long-lost friends, whom left us since standard 3 or so. Well, most important is to have everyone to get along with each others, try to re-bridge the long-lost relationship.
Jie Lian & Sook Kuan, absentees from previous gatherings.
Apart from that, I've actually called a few other friends also from the same primary school but different class than us to join in, as I was concern whether the number of people turn up would be enough or not.
Well, I'm glad my speculation was wrong, the number exceeds my expectation, which is good.
Luckily the electricity resumed after an hour, so I can online to share some old pics with those friends as well as charging my running-flat battery.
Let the pics tell the stories....
Most gatherings start of with a more relaxed manner before everyone's warm up.
Sook Kuan and some of the girls. She's going back to Rawang so have to leave after coming for awhile.
Me and Jie Lian, std 6 class monitor and also my colleague working in Suria. She have to leave early as she had to take care of her sis.
Warming up, everyone's engaging in conversations.

A very fruitful gathering I must say, good to see everyone's enjoyin' every single moment of it. :D
Friends keep messaging thanking me for organising such eventful gathering, the most memorable one. :)
Managed to record this videoclip for their comments, very nice, hahah.
Well, here's my final words on the gathering....
This gathering could be even better with more friends from last year around, namely Hong Inn, Chiok Ian, Guan Khoon, Jonathan etc. Ah well, but this time the turn-out number is the highest so far, almost 30 of them shows up, that's more than half of the class! :D
Actually being an organiser is not that hard. I just need to decide the date, time & venue. Pass the message around friends and ask them spread it around to more friends. The job needs someone dedicated into getting everybody along again.
It's happy to see all the efforts worked out nicely,
Like I mentioned in the video, this could be the last gathering I'll be organising, as I'm off to Japan next April. Someone else have to take over my job to be the organiser, to get everyone connected and keep in touch, at least once in every year.
The exhausted but extremely satisfied and happy organiser. :)
The end of this post. I rest my case. :)

Thanks to Peck Hsia, Cheng Mun & Kian Hoong contributing the pictures.
Familiar faces, but can't recall some of their names if you didn't mention it......
ReplyDeleteIf you may have noticed, some of them are from K class instead of M, so that's why I didn't put the title 6M gathering, or else they'll felt awkward there. :)
