I've been busy lately as such that I've almost forgotten my own birthday until I was reminded by e-mails and notifications. 21 years huh.... so fast it feels like.
Previous birthdays passed rather ordinary with no wild celebrations or sort (except during my 16's). Last year wrote a lengthy post to commemorate me being alive for 2 decades heh.
Anyway let's focus back to this year. Yes, this is the first time I celebrate my birthday out of Malaysia. Am glad that I've a bunch of great friends around to celebrate this occasion together.
As some of them had flight the other day, so we had the party a night earlier on the 5th.
Let the pics do the talking....
Bought this Hors-d'œuvre (オードブル, Oodoburu) set for 6 persons from Hotto Motto bento shop. Cost 5k yen~
Setting up the dishes, mmm.....
The feast!
The Oodoburu uncovered!
A video introducing friends and also some of the dishes.

Group photo after the feast!
The feast ended around 10pm and everyone left as still need to do last minute preparation going back. I headed back to my room without any suspicious and proceeded to process the batch of photos and upload it.
Moments later, they knock my door bidding farewell........ while holding a cake lol.
To be honest I really didn't see this coming, but nevertheless this surprise sure's a good one lol.
Fruit cake!
With Jian Yi who cooked the delicious fried bee hoon (vermicelli noodle)!
Pei Ki who cooks great meals!
With lengzai Chee Jun hahah.
With Wei Shiuan!
Jia Yi! Though not in our class but hostelmate whom I used to show him around when he first came here on Oct 2009.
Danielle! Urusai no Shizuka-chan lol.
Funny Cong Jie! Best mate around hahah.
With Caphy the dancing queen lol.
Leang! Comes with a nice hand-made greeting card, thanks!!
Checking the fine details of the card.

Licking the knife~
Well according to friends, this is the way I'm supposed to pick the candles....
Let the pros help me to handle the cutting hah!
Makan makan~ ("eat" in Malay language)
The birthday card, nicely done!
The following morning, headed to Nippori station with few of them to catch the train to Narita airport.
We reached at 715am, just 4 mins short before the train arrives.
Those who're going back.
The platform is much better than when I took the Skyliner last year.
The platform can be a good subject for panoramic shots like this.
The train is coming.
Boarding and departing.
Compile it into a slideshow.

Sending friends off can be quite a difficult task , not physically but mentally. Although I'm envious that they're heading back, but at the same time this will probably be the last time I'll see them for some time as we're going separate routes soon.
Well then, 'til we meet again friends! Thanks alot for everything!
皆が私の誕生日を祝ってくれ、ありがとうございました!離別は寂しいことなんですけど、また会おうチャンスがあるんですね。一年で一緒に過ごした時は本当に楽しかったです!心を込めて感謝致します!
