24 Feb (Wed) was the last day in the Japanese language school (aka ABK we usually refer it). It's kinda surreal but there goes the 11 months language course.
* This post will be focusing on the daytime celebration we had, while Part II will be much wilder celebration at night. *
Last day in school was filled with activities, as we still have to gave presentations on the Asakusa school trip few days ago.
But before that, everyone of us in the class were asked to have a word or two. Since I lost the jan-ken-pon so it start with me first.
My message was something like this: It's been fun to study alongside the classmates, remind some classmates that they can no longer slack in university (purposely aim at those who always turn up late for the class).
Akina's turn giving speech.
Maritan's turn.
Caphy's.
Danielle's speech, which is the only one I managed to record down. Funny as always.
There're 4 groups presenting, and here's one of them.
Endou sensei's handing back our final exam's essay while Yamaguchi sensei waits beside.
Endou sensei's final speech.
Preparing the snack feast!
Kick-start the feast with toasting!
It's funny that the teacher commented 飲勝 ("yam seng" in Cantonese) sounded like いや ("iya" in Japanese) which means "dislike".
Me drinking. Btw no alcohol was involved during the day though.
Eating!
Camwhore pics with some classmates now hah. Decided to feature some of them here as kinda craze to introduce every 15 of them!
Cute Korean classmate Elaine! She's the popular character in the class with a few nicknames to boot and love to play around with the others.
Danielle. Another fellow Malaysian from Penang. Sometimes I find her annoying but anyway she's a nice friend especially you need something to laugh about lol.
Caphy~ Hostelmate and came to Japan together. She complained she'd gain weight ever since coming to Japan lol.
Maritan. Hostelmate and a cool dude in the class which draws amazing manga (comic).
Leang. A nice classmate to have fun around but sometimes I'd problem with her naiveness.
Cong Jie. Hostelmate and most importantly one of my best table tennis partner!
Akimoto sensei! Though sometimes we're kinda fed up with her class but nevertheless she'd worked hard to teach us.
Yamaguchi sensei. Only spent like 4 months with her as she replaced Machida sensei. Hmm.... kinda sarcastic as she'd teases you while smiling at the same time.
Endou sensei. Might appears to be amusing in the class but when she's getting serious you better don't mess with her!
Taking class photo.
While leaving the school compound heading out for our lunch, many students were glued on the TV showing the Vancouver Winter Olympics, ice-skating event.
Then the gang of friends went to a nearby restaurant and had lunch together for the last time.
This is the seafood spaghetti I ordered, loaded with mussels and clams though I normally wouldn't take it. Tasted still OK, better after added Tabasco sauce heh.
So.... that's it for the Part 1. Here's a sneak peak on what'll happen during the night.
Stay tuned! :)
Part II here!
What your sensei said was true.
