Music in blog

Perhaps frequent visitors might noticed that recently I've been changing few background music on the blog. It's not easy to choose a decent music to put it up here, and also the works to reshape and improve the music.

The current background music, is a clip from the song "Nightingale" presented by Yanni, one of my favourite song. I recorded this clip from the Yanni Live! DVD. This is a hidden track though, too bad it's not a complete track.
The Chinese flute + piano combo is what I regarded as one of the best combo any instrument can form, well in my opinion.

Enjoy the piece of music!! :D

Few more hours to 2007

Post no. 991 on the blog, I regret that I didnt update this blog as often as I expected. Yea, blame myself for the slack. 9 more post and I'll hit the 1000th post in this blog, since I started to write this in Nov 2004.

So.... year 2006's coming to it's end, literally. When I look back all the things I've done this year, I've a little mixture of emotions. Happy, because I've completed the 11 years Malaysian Education course, but sad because I've to leave my 2nd home, the school and also separated from friends after the final exam. I regret that I should've done something more back in the school, to increase my certificate tally.

Sometimes when I think of myself, I knew that I've lots of potentials and abilities to outshine the others, but I either give up the opportunity or didnt try my best in some occasions. Well, it's too late to regret, outside the school there's the big world where you can learn almost anything you didnt learn in the school.

Tonight at 0020 hours, I shall repeat something that I've done last year, exactly the same time. It's better not to disclose too much bout what I'm up to, but if you're smart enough it's hidden somewhere in this blog, just a few clicks away. :P
Should I succeed or fail in any circumstance, I'll learn another lesson in my life, and begin another new chapter of my life in the new year, 2007.

Happy New Year!!

Pre-Work

Saturday afternoon after I came back from football, my mother told me that the tuition center staff called and asked me to have a briefing before I start my work on the next Wednesday. After some clean up I went there to find the person in charge.

The staff took me into a small lot with computers. 2 friends are working there though. Yeen Yeah, the ex-primary schoolmate who asked me to work here, and senior Hui Yi are working in the lot. One typing notes for primary students while the other one doing F5 Chemistry notes.

I've been informed to prepare Physic notes. My job is simple, take one of the best reference book available, copy & cut & paste the notes on an A4 paper. Later, refer to other books. If there's a better notes, then replace the better notes with the one on the paper. If the formula in one of the book is easier to remember, then use that formula equation.

Well, I guess I cant complain much. However I do prefer to work on other subjects I'm interested like Bio, Chem or Geo. Also, I want to prove myself by taking over the typing part. It's no problem for me to type, except that I might type slower in Chinese because have to get use to the different system and also getting the correct pinyin.

I'm gonna start work next Wednesday, from 11am to 4pm. It'll be a RM4/hour job. I dont have any comment on the wage as I'm just here to learn something new and gain some experience, as well as filling my emptiness staying at home facing the computer for 12 hours++. :)

Football Game

My favourite game, favourite moment to release all the pressure. Those who're playing against me are unfortunately will be "killed" by my lust, no matter who that guy is, let it be my friend or foe.

I'll show no mercy when dealing with the obstacles. And yes, I dare to do a hard tackle on anyone if I'm that desperate to gain possession of the game.

Of course, I do made mistakes on the field, one of my weakness is I couldnt lay a good pass from the wing side, either left or right. Therefore, I prefer to play in other position other than wingers.

Alright, Saturday's game is a time I tested my new boots. The same problem still occurs, I've trouble to kick the ball higher. Also, I felt that the boots is too tight, the previous boots are wider and much more comfortable. I dunno whether is the leather's problem, but this new boots are based on synthetic leather instead of organic leather on normal football boots. I still have to learn something bout the synthetic leather.

First half of the game doesnt look good for my team. At this half we're playing on 1 goal, applying the rule like 3on3 basketball does. My team seems to have problem scoring goals, either we hit the post or went off target. I stupidly missed a penalty, I should've concentrate on where I should put the ball goes instead of kick the ball instantly to the keeper's direction.

While we're resting and prepare for the 2nd half, a Malay guy shows up. Amir, the guy whom I played with him once few months back. Coincidentally he's wearing the same boot as mine, but his boot is a better version, the Absolion.

After the introduction of Amir on my side, we changed the gameplay to become a full field game instead of half field game we played earlier. We chose 3T to be the keeper, which is a wrong decision. I'm playing the center foward role, along with Joey, in my opinion best attacking partner I have.

Few moment after the game starts, we've alrdy conceded few goals because of error in judgment by the keeper. Right.... I'm fire up.

I've few collisions with the opposition team, and I fall on the ground more than I usually do in previous games. Luckily I didnt suffer from any injuries.

Game on, finally I've manage to struck the ball into the goal. First goal, a series of bad defending plus an off-guard keeper allows me to volley in my 1st goal. I couldnt remember much of the 2nd goal settings but I know I scored again with another volley. I'm better at volleying ball than kicking the ball from the ground, heh.
Hat-trick, keeper mis-throw the ball to my direction and I slot into the corner with right foot, 3 goals to my name, YEAH!!
Joey struck few times too, but many flies off target. Anyway he still manage to score few goals.

The only problem I've in the 2nd half is that, the new guy Amir doesnt seem like to pass the ball to others. He prefers to dribble the ball alone and then lost it while he can pass and let us score. He still manage to get 1 goal into his name.

Game ends sometime at 11am. I'm satisfied, the new boots live up to my expectations in the end. Fulfill another goal, to score hat-trick in every game. Hahah!!

4 stories in a day

Story 1: Primary school gathering 2006.

Another year, another friends gathering. This year's gathering to me is, not as good as what I expected. Oh well, some friends only contact me telling that they arent available for the gathering at the last minute. The reasons of not coming? Working, traveling or no reasons at all. Sigh....

This year, only 13 out of 50 ex-classmates attended the gathering. It's hard to have everyone gather together and have some fun. A friend, Kai Neng suggested the we make the next gathering as a travel trip to somewhere. I do concur this idea but it has to go through lots of planning.

The pizza meal cost RM75.67, for 2 large pizza, 2 garlic breads & 2 jug of coke. Expensive 'eh? I should've order the combo meal but I've made the order and too lazy to turn down the order. Lots of money flew away just like that. Crap, another less satisfying primary gathering this year....

Mun Yee gathering 2006.

Story 2: Part-time work.

After the gathering, I walked down to the tuition center I used to go and ask for part-time job. My friend Yeen Yean is working there and she offer me for the job. RM4/hour, not so bad I guess. I plan to work on weekdays, from 11am to 4pm, 5 hours. If I follow this rate, I'll be able to earn RM100/week. Better and faster than Google Adsense, hahah!

What do I need to do? Just setup the tuition notes for the juniors, typing & scanning.
I think it's a good way for me to keep in touch with some friends and teachers who used to teach me in the tuition center. Might start working next week Wednesday, when the juniors are busy back in the tuition center.

Story 3: New football boots.

It's time to replace my faulty football boot. Because I couldnt get a new one in Hainan, I've to come back here and get it. I shopped at Jusco, lots of varieties for me to choose, including Puma V5.06, Nike Legend & Adidas Absolado. In the end I still chose Adidas because it's the cheapest boots I can get in there.

Adidas Predator +Absolado Cardinal Red DB TRX FG.

This boots cost me RM 168, original price RM 240, discount 30%. I chose red because it's one of my favourite color in football & as a successor for my earlier Devilish Red Predator Pulsado.

Tested the boots by playing a game with double J brothers, Joseph & Jonah. Not so bad, but I still have to figure out how to kick a high ball, as most of the balls I shot are low drives.

Story 4: Laggy net.

Hmm.... the earthquake that struck southern Taiwan somehow affected the Internet cable in the region, and thus making the Net in Malaysia unstable. Some international websites arent available for the surfers. Hmm.... no wonder this morning I felt the net is kinda laggy.

According to TVBS news, the repair project will have to take at least 3 weeks to finish. Sigh.... well hopefully things can be solved as soon as possible, because billions of people are affected.

The quake hits southern part of Taiwan, damaging Kenting 垦丁, a place where I really like during my visit to Taiwan last year. Sigh.... so many things happened in just 1 year. I'm glad I'm able to visit there before the sceneries destroyed by the quake.

Single Life

Hmm.... this is a topic I tried to avoid to talk about it with my family, as well as in this blog. I do wrote something bout it before in this blog, but the outcome wasnt that good.

For many years I've been thinking what kind of partner I need in life. You see, I've been alone for many times in life. Although I've a great family, but because the elders are busy with their works or studies so I can only spend a limited time with them. This leaves me to become a more quiet person, a lonely guy who's life is heavily rely on the Internet.

I like this quote from Jay Chou's song, "没人能说 没人可说 好难承受 荣耀的背后 刻著一道孤独". Roughly means, I cant tell anyone, I'm stressed, behind all the glory and fame, is a path of lonliness. This really speaks out my feeling.

Sure, Internet let me knew more friends in life. Some schoolmates I only can get to know them better on the net, but not in real life. Sometimes I do prefer having a conversation with certain people on the Net rather than in real life because I'm not so good in face-to-face conversation and I can easily get nervous for no reasons, which might let people think that I'm up to something or so.

I think this is a serious prob. You see, I wouldnt know the other person's feeling or expression just by chatting on the Net. Maybe the person can fake it? Or write some other stuff to distract me? I do not dare to engage in real life because I'm scare I'll leave a bad impression to the other. I guess no try, no gain right?

Sometimes I'll have the negative thoughts when I see friends around me getting their partners. Some are really compatible with each others, which I bless their relationship will last forever, but some I'll be jealous or look down on that person because I think they're "low class". Though this is just my feelings, but when I look back at myself, I'm still the single guy.

Personally, I prefer the partner that we've knew each other for quite some time. Say, friends since primary school? One of the reason is because I somehow can read the person's personality, and try the best way to approach the person. Well, failed all those so far. Hah....

Some friends told me it's a good chance to get a partner while in the National Service camp, but I do not trust that because most of the time they separate both gender trainees. I dunno, but maybe I can try? No matter what, I still prefer the person I'm familiar with.

I do not prefer strangers because I'll appears to be cool, quiet or shy to new people I've met. I'll only shows my playfulness & friendliness if I got to know that person a little better. As what I mentioned earlier, to me first impression is very important, and I do not want to bring disgrace to myself when firstly meet a person.

One of the main weakness I've is, whenever I've the feeling with a certain person, I just cant stop to tell others. This, annoys the person and I've destroyed my own plan by my silly weakness. I've been trying to overcome this though, to keep everything in secret that is.

Yes I do admit that I've been considering few person before, it's hard to make up my mind which one I should go after. I've doubts, because in my opinion they're the person I really like to have as my partner.

Currently, I'm planning to try to ask a person again, a question that I've asked during 2006 New Year. It's about 1 year since then, lots of things have happened. til now I still dunno what that person think about me, I guess I'll have to make my move then. I'll remember my buddy Yee Kai's advise, dont give up and try harder. I guess that's the factor I needed to accomplish it.

Next year 2007, I hope I wont be the single guy anymore, and so do in the future.....

Hainan Trip

Finally the 6 days trip came to its end. Time passed so fast, its like ystrdy I'm still on the way to China, and tomorrow I'll be going back to Malaysia. Some will ask me how's the trip, well I think it's hard to reply this question. It has it's pros and cons, it's hard to tell whether this is really a fun trip or a terrible trip for me.

Hmm.... almost 95% I went to KLIA during night time, since the 1st time I board an airplane back in 1998, to Sabah. This time, we arrived at 2am, but have to wait til 6.30am only can boarding because the plane was delayed. We knew that it's important to stay awake at this moment because the flight might be changed anytime. 2am to 6.30am, we did not sleep.
The trip from KL to Hainan took about 3.5 hours.

First step into Hainan isle, it reminds me of Taiwan I've been to last year because of it's weather. A little sunny, plus windy. Although Hainan is a tropical isle, the climate is slightly colder than Malaysia, plus Dec is the coldest month in Hainan according to the tour guide.
While I still reminiscent the days in Taiwan, I quickly realised that this is China after all. Why? Because of it's communism factions & the people's ethique. You know, the red banners and chairman Mao cult, plus the spitting "bomb" by the Chinese.... those infamous traits a China Chinese shows.

To me, Hainan = China(people) + Taiwan(climate).

I've noticed lots many people drives big cars, such as Mercz & Audis around the city. Many of their cars comes with large capacity, like this Mercedes Benz S 600.
Mercedes Benz S 600

I personally like all the food they serve here through the entire trip. I enjoyed almost every meal I had. Everything to me is nice, and I ate alot. Hainan food, can be enhance by adding in their special spicy chili sauce, which taste salty & spicy(my favourite!).
I've to exercise alot in order to maintain my body weight back here.

To the tourist from China mainland, Hainan looks like the best tropical isle for them, but I tell you, as a Malaysian, I'd say Penang isle or Langkawi isle can easily beat Haina isle in terms of the beaches & environments.

China is also known to create laughters for those who can read English. Have a look at these examples....

During the Xmas evening, we're given 3 hours to shop in the shopping districts. I asked RMB 50 from my father and then roam the shopping malls alone, like what I did exactly the same during last year's Xmas in Taiwan. Planned to buy a new football boots but Hainan people doesnt really like football. They prefer basketball to football. Because of this, most of the sports shop selling basketball shoes. The only football boot I see is Mizunos. I've bought few CDs & a new earphone with the RMB50 note. Original CDs & softwares cost kinda cheap over there. Say, a Need For Speed Most Wanted original copy is selling bout RMB 60, which is about MYR 30. Compare that to the price they selling here in Malaysia, MYR 120. But I not sure whether it's available in English language though.

The journey back to KL faced a little minor probs, 4 person from my tour group can only confirm their tickets back to KL few minutes before boarding the plane. Definitely not a good situation, but thankfully everyone's going back to KL safe and sound.

Next on my travel list, is Perth, Australia. Going there bout 20th January, going there to attend cousin's wedding. :)

Revival

Back in KL.... now is 4.45am. Still no mood to sleep yet.
Will update more stuff soon....

* Due to long period didnt touch keyboard, felt abit awkward to type again, hahah....

Khye Liang's party

* Last post before I leave my house to KLIA.

Fortunately I was able to attend this party because the place is just within walking distance from my house. What makes this party better is, many friends are coming too, which build up the great atmosphere among us.

I've met few old friends, Daniel & Wei Jian who're pros in basketball(not me, I'm football!). Because many friends are having their own business now, it isnt easy to make a gathering with lots of friends attend, so I think this party is a success, in terms of gathering friends together.

We plan to do a BBQ, but to build up the BBQ fire was a task for us, and when we're able to heat up the coals, rain starts to fall, duh! Anyhow, rain doesnt affect the BBQ as well. I've phobia of eating BBQ chickens, because in the last BBQ I attended, the meat wasnt fully cooked and the next day something upsets my stomach. :\

Too bad, only 1 person bring camera go but in the end took 0 pics. Sigh....

I've to leave the place earlier, because I've to come back earlier to do final preparation before going to KLIA. They still party at the field, and they maybe will perform a "ritual" in the school, especially this gang of people, that is "bang tree" 撞树. Missed this last chance of watching "live show", gonna miss it lol.

I'm so lucky able to attend another gathering party before I leave KL. So happy to see everyone's around again. I'm satisfied with everything now, if anything happens, at least, I'm happy with what I've experience til now. :)

I guess that's it, farewell people, meet me back on the 26 of Dec! :D

20 December 2006

Away: 21 - 26 Dec.

Where I'll go this time? Refer to this post.

Next week when I get back, gonna prepare for a mailbox boom.

If anyone has anything important want to inform me, you can sms/call me at
+6017 3636 026.

* Be warned, if you call me the surcharge will apply on international call rates because I'm not using local telco service(Maxis), so it's wiser to send sms to me. ;)

Good day everyone, and Merry Christmas. :D

Holiday is crazy!!

Now then I only realised that this holiday I've spent an average of 14 hours sitting in front of the computer, that is from 12pm to 2am. O_o

So far I havent get sick, but if I keep on continue this lifestyle, I'll be weakened because lack of exercise. No football, sigh....

P/S: My wallpaper, the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.

Couldnt find the original wallpaper though. :S

Intellectual Superhero

Intellectual Superhero is neither an intellectual nor a superhero, but don’t tell him that! The Intellectual Superhero is easily identified by his complete inability to allow a class period to pass by without asking at least 654 questions designed to show how "witty" and "clever" he is. He will attempt to prove the professor wrong in every class with his inane bullshit, regardless of the fact that the professor has a doctorate in the field. If it’s a science course, the Intellectual Superhero will attempt to solve every problem using an alternate method, which is always incorrect. But don’t worry; he’ll still manage to waste 20 minutes of your life with his insane method of solving the problem. At least you’ll get to laugh at him when the professor proves him wrong.
Note: Definitely Prof Goh CM from S2. LOL

45 Year Old College Student with Two Kids
The 45 Year Old College Student with Two Kids is one of the more interesting personas found in the college classroom. This subject has returned to school in an attempt to better her life, which is a great endeavor. However, there are a few things about this person that will make you want to punch her in the face by the end of the semester. The 45-year-old college student with two kids must write down every word the professor says. This will cause the class to be peppered with calls of "can you repeat that" approximately every 0.23 seconds. Second, she must ask the most obvious questions, preferably ones the professor has already answered. Here’s an example:

quote:

Professor: So, in 1776 the Declaration of Independence was written.
Old student: Okay, let me make sure I’m writing this down correctly. The Declaration of Independence was written in 1776, right?
Professor: 30 seconds of blank stare followed by: Yes.

If you are lucky enough to be in a small class where participation is required, you’ll be treated to such delights as "Well I have two kids and I think that [insert obvious statement here]" or "Ever since I’ve had my two kids, [insert fragmented sentence here]." As an added bonus, you’ll get to hear about all of her life experiences as a parole officer and about her last 5 marriages that ended in divorce.
Note: No such person in my school, yet.

Stupid Ugly Fat Girl
Stupid Ugly Fat Girl feels the need to enter into every single class discussion, completely disregarding the fact that she has nothing of substance to add to the conversation. Stupid Ugly Fat Girl cannot construct a sentence without using the words "like" and "um" at least 12 times for every 2 other words. She always wears clothes that are too tight, and seems partial to gaudy rhinestone shirts with incredibly original phrases such as "Princess" strewn across the front of her sagging cow tits. The only way to actually learn something in a class with the Stupid Ugly Fat Girl is to distract her attention with a shiny object.
Note: 2 girls in the school, one for a schoolmate and one for a teacher. Though this fact only apply on their physical appearance, not their mentality.

Johnny Frat Boy - or - Sally Sorority Chick
While there’s certainly nothing wrong with being in a Greek organization, some people take their involvement in these groups a little too seriously. These are the people who can’t go 2 consecutive days without wearing their shirts from some drinking party they went to last weekend. Johnny Frat Boy likes to brag about how many beers he slammed down on Tuesday night, while Sally Sorority Chick acts as though she is too immaculate to be tarnished by your presence. In either case you shouldn’t worry about these two personality types too much because they only associate with each other. This brings me to another point: when you see these people outside of class, it is perfectly acceptable to run them over with your motor vehicle of choice.
Note: Hmm.... a tough one. A person who speaks something he/she only interested, 'eh?

Study Nazi
Study Nazi is in school for one reason: to get good grades. Unfortunately for Study Nazi, he’s not that bright and he struggles with his classes. That doesn’t stop him from letting everyone know how long he studied for that 5 question quiz though. Study Nazi, much like the Intellectual Superhero, will ask questions constantly during class. However, the Intellectual Superhero has some grasp of the material. Study Nazi, while he can quote his books and his notes verbatim, has no idea what any of it means. Under no circumstances should you approach Study Nazi outside of class. Doing so will only remind him that he’s losing valuable time that he could be using in the library and you might get hurt in his frenzied dash to get there as quickly as possible.
Note: Some librarian friends I knew, say, Ivan?

Silent Foreign Curve Destroyer
Silent Foreign Curve Destroyer has nothing better to do than study. While the average of the rest of the class is a respectable 45%, Silent Foreign Curve Destroyer has approximately a 1351% in the course, thereby totally destroying any chance you had of passing the class. Silent Foreign Curve Destroyer can be identified by the fact that he will be in the library before you get there and stay far after you've left. He will almost certainly wear the same clothing throughout the entire course, and, while he may be human, it's more likely that he's some kind of magic robot.

Note: A German girl, Nina used to study in my school for 1 year. Unfortunately she's only active in sports but not in the studies. Always sleep in class though.

Fucking Disgusting Computer Science Major
Fucking Disgusting Computer Science Major is the reason that you don’t want to go to class. He bathes roughly once every leap year and wears the same "totally awesome" Japanese video game (the import version was so much better) shirt for half a semester at a time. No matter how far away you get from him, the stench seems to travel across the room and assault your nostrils. Fucking Disgusting Computer Science Major has no time for the English language, and he will often ask questions that make little to no sense and lack any sort of "grammatical structure." He’s the only character that can actually give Silent Foreign Curve Destroyer a run for his money on the intellectual scale, but that’s only because he was probably born with knowledge of linear algebra and differential equations.
Note: Someone who's addicted to games, well lots of them in the school, better dont name them.

Agenda Assailer
The Agenda Assailer has (surprise!) an agenda to push on everyone else. If you’re in, say, a science class you’ll get to hear about how the scientist who discovered some principle was a racist or misogynist and therefore his scholarly work is somehow meaningless. Even though the rest of the class is just there to learn, the Agenda Assailer will attempt to turn every class into a political debate. Here’s an example from a history class:

quote:

Professor: Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence.
AA: How can you even SAY that?!?!?!?! He owned slaves!!!
Professor: Well, yes. But he still wrote it.
AA: Well then he’s a hypocrite and we should THROW OUT the Declaration of Independence!!!

Note: Nobody in the school cares bout History, so no debate on this.

The Anime Freak
Anime Freak is somewhat of a rarity outside of computer science and/or Japanese courses. However, you still might encounter one in some humanities cores. The Anime Freak will always be wearing button down shirts with a dragon or some kind of Dragonball Z character on it. Also, anything with Japanese writing on it is always cool in the eyes of Anime Freak, even if it makes absolutely no sense. Do not approach the Anime Freak outside of class, unless you want to run into a situation like this:

quote:

You: Hey, what’s up?
AF: I think episode 185 of [insert horribly obscure anime show here] is the best because they use the Power of the Light to slay the dragon beast and save the world from total destruction!!!
You: Um… I have to go.

Note: Anime freak huh.... Those friends are still "normal" though.

Major Elitist
No, he’s not in the military! Ha ha! All blatantly bad jokes aside, the Major Elitist is generally some type of science or engineering major who looks down on anyone who might even think about getting a humanities or business degree. After all, we all know that the only thing that’s important is science. All that other mamby-pansy bullshit like "History" or "English" or "the world economy" is just a bunch of feel-good rhetorical nonsense anyway. Besides, any jackass can get a liberal arts degree!
Note: Arrogant dude? Thankfully this type of person doesnt exist in my school.

Non-Conformist Conformist
The Non-Conformist Conformist is an interesting species. While he tries to "fight the man," he is unable to do so without conforming to another group. The Non-Conformist Conformist can be easily identified by his Rage Against the Machine or Che Guevara t-shirt and dark green corduroy pants. During the winter he will be wearing a military field coat from Germany with a patch on the side, and he often carries a wallet on a chain. You can identify him in the classroom because he’ll feel the need to share with the class his opinions of pop culture. He’ll use a condescending tone of voice because he’s better than little sheeple like you. That’s all right though because whether it be the punk, goth, or any other subculture, the Non-Conformist Conformist declares boldly, "I choose to not fit in by fitting in with a DIFFERENT group!"
Note: I guess a group of people in my class falls into this category. They like to live in their own world and less communicate with other people in the class. Another guy, Lee KS my classmate.

Fashion Monger
Fashion Monger is on the bleeding edge of fashion! While having some nice clothes is something everyone should invest in, Fashion Monger’s entire wardrobe has been purchased from stores so hip that you've never even heard of them. Apparently, it’s "hip" and "with it" to pay 500 dollars for jeans that were hand stitched by the hardworking people of Taiwan. And, as we all know, 50 dollars for a silk-screened t-shirt is a completely reasonable price, as long as it was designed by an gay Italian man. Yes, nothing says, "I have too much money and not enough common sense" quite like buying clothes with fancy designer labels that are marked up 1000%!
Note: Cant really decide this, because in school everyone have to wear the same uniform everyday.

The Skimmer
The skimmer is easy to identify. He always sits in the back of lecture halls and is usually asleep 10 minutes into class. It is not uncommon to hear The Skimmer brag about how much studying he didn't do for that quiz coming up. The Skimmer is not usually found in higher level courses.
Note: Hmm.... when I was in F3, there's a guy who sits in the front but do nothing other than sleep in the class.

The Sociable Slacker
This is the guy who went out of his way to talk to you on the first day. Was really personable, seems like a normal, social person. He even suggested trading phone numbers just in case you needed help. Fast forward to the second week of class - he's not there. Same goes for all the classes until right before the midterm when you get a call. "Hey man, what's up? How's it going? Oh yeah, I missed the last class can I borrow all your notes and photocopy them? Yeah, we should go grab a beer one day." No show again until the final where he calls you up again asking for notes. And that beer? A complete fabrication.
Note: Classmate Vincent is half of this category. He's the social guy in the class and fortunately he's good enough to settle his studies well. :P

CEO Junior the Third
Born to wealth and privilege and toting an ego the size of Australia, CEO Jr. III will rarely be encountered outside of econ, business and business-related courses (like the lower level computer sciences). Much like the Fashion Monger, CJ3 is fascinated by brand names and drops them wherever possible. However, instead of dropping "real" designer names, he'll brag about the cheap shit he bought from Abercrombie last week. Success is what he's aiming for, and he'll probably get there, but only through his dad’s business connections. Like the Study Nazi, he is not particularly bright, though his particular mode of achieving good grades consists of stroking the professor's ego with appropriate questions and office hours schmoozing. Like the Sociable Slacker he is unfailingly cheerful, but his cheeriness, much like everything else about him, is completely insincere. He is astoundingly successful at getting laid for reasons which are at present unknown to science. It's probably best to avoid crossing him in social circumstances since he can wield his people skills like a weapon.
Note: Rich guy 'eh? Lim MH from my class maybe can be considered one of them, but no matter what this guy's very friendly indeed, a simple person after all.

THE PHANTOM
A completely unremarkable student in every way, THE PHANTOM shows up for classes, does the work, and... that's it. You will never see THE PHANTOM outside of class - Existing on his sheepishness and fueled by his silence, even if you live next door to THE PHANTOM you'll never hear a word of him.
Note: Some top students in the school, possibly girls.

Idiot Savant
This student will never sit in the same place twice, though he may gravitate towards one section of the hall or another. He never takes notes, often appears to be sleeping or daydreaming, doesn't ask questions, and is overall unremarkable except for his absolute apathy and seeming retardedness. The striking feature of this individual is that if you ever find out his grades they are top of the class, often leaving his professor and classmates confused.
Note: Same as THE PHANTOM above.

The Wanna Be Computer Geek
They can be found in groups often discussing old internet fads while downloading songs and files from P2P networks. Often annoying to the people around them. Will shout out "LOL INTERNETS" at random times and you can hear some old techno songs in the background.
Note: Perhaps, myself falls under this category? :P

The Conversationist
You'll find this one at the back of the class, and they tend to travel in herds. She spends all semester having conversations with the people around her, that have absolutely nothing to do with the class, usually pertaining to her boyfriend, a movie she just saw, or a party she was at/plans to attend. Completely ignorant of the people around her who are actually trying to pay attention to the lecture in a typically difficult subject. Another common trait of The Conversationist is her apparent lack of any sort of school supplies (including pens, pencils, paper, and the freaking textbook) Sociologists have theorized that this is a subconcsious ploy designed to draw more people into The Conversationalist's tangled web of distraction.
Note: Some jackasses in the tuition class, back in year 2004. Enrage teachers as well.

Deer in Headlights Chick

Normally, she's quiet. She's so quiet she'll duck down when the professor looks to ask questions. The second she's called on to give a speech, her entire body tenses up. Very rarely will a word escape her mouth that's not "Uhhh" or "Like". She's known for freezing up for periods of greater than one minute during in-class presentations, much to everyone else's amusement.
Note: Not only girls, boys also have this problem too. Some of my classmates fall under this type.

The Wannabe Premeds

Usually egged on by their Asian parents, these wanna-be doctors are an unhealthy combination of the pre-med, the study nazi and major elitist. They make sure to publicly broadcast their disappointment at a 93% final. They refuse to help others lest it might bring up the class average. They will immerse themselves wholly in everything to do with science and medicine and scoff at everyone not planning to go on to med school. They take on extracurriculars just for the sake of having something to put on their resumes, but they don't really give a crap about hospital patients or homeless people.

They watch Scrubs and House and ER and 3 lbs religiously. To make up for their relative lack of natural talent at school, they'll resort to studying feverishly for long hours in the library and will ostracize anyone who dares whispers in the library while simultaneously moaning to their similar premed friends how hard it is to identify the innominate in a rat.

Not surprisingly, this breed doesn't socialize very well, but it might be in your interests to associate with them now because in 10 years they'll be operating on your brain.
Note: Again, Prof Goh CM falls under this category. LOL!

The Sniper

This is the kid, usually a male, who sits in the back of the class and will constantly spout out smart ass remarks at the professor in an attempt to act like he really doesn't really care for the class and thinks he is super cool cause he can be so disrespectful in class. But this guy is important cause when the class starts dragging and getting boring, he can usually lighten the mood. Annoying and funny at the same time.
Note: It's me again. Love to snipe Mdm Haniza or Mdm Tan SL while in the class.

Quiet Smart Slacker

Normally found in one of the back rows but not the very back as he is trying to blend in. Doesn't say much in class, only being social when he has to or with people he knows outside of class. Won't disrupt class but if called on will answer correctly. Pays attention, but doesn't always do work, or work hard. Shows up to class 80% of the time, but does 40% of the outside work/study time. Graduates in 5-6 years with a 3.0 but only because of intelligence and test scores, not effort (as shown in number of years taken to graduate).
Note: Another me. :D

The Converter
This guy or gal is a shining beacon of thier Religion, and will attempt to bring it to light every chance they get, and attempt to get you to believe in whatever it is they believe. Anytime your classes mention faith, she is the first to preach to the entire class, and say that her deity is what everyone needs to follow.
Note: In the school students arent allow to discuss bout religious issue openly so....

The Computer Dummy
Cannot use a computer or any technology to save thier life. This person will rely on you to help them type up reports, assignments, or use excel/powerpoint/access for projects. Will also become dazzled if they see you playing any kind of video game or watching a DVD in your dorm, and will want to learn more about it.
Note: Unfortunately some schoolmates are still this type of person, get out from the stone age!!

The Apathetic Genius

The apathetic genius is the pinnacle of wasted potential. He shows up to most of his classes, and is minorly sociable. He is involved in class discussions but will never write a single page of notes, never does any extra credit or optional assignments, and never even reads the textbook or studies. Despite this he will consistantly get A's and B's in every class he takes, all while exerting no apparent effort. This person probably has the ability to cure cancer some day, but years of being unchallenged and socially shunned will lead him to drop out after his first or second year.
Note: It'll be great if in the school have people like this, but unfortunately things doesnt go as what we think of.

The Study'n'Party hard dude
This is the dude that takes notes and pay attention in class,
he may or may not look geeky, but in the weekends this is the guy that
comes knocking on your door, with free booze and wants to join the party.
normally a great guy.
Note: Chiam SH, aka Horse from S2, definitely fits in!

The Dude Who Knows Fucking EVERYONE
Everywhere you go, this guy knows somebody he has to high five and chat with for a little bit. He probably grew up in the area, has an outgoing personality, and is involved in a wide variety of activities that breach many social circles. Generally liked, although he may be too outgoing for some people. Generally doesn't have a lot of close friends, but makes up for it in sheer volume. This is the guy to talk to if you're interested in a new hobby, want to join a club, or just want to meet new people. May do incredibly outrageous things to get even more attention.
Note: Then again, Vincent fits in this type of person. Hahah....

The "OMGZ MY GRADE JUST ISN'T FUCKING GOOD ENOUGH" guy/girl

This is the person that will get absolutely pouty when they made a 96%, despite the fact that its an A and that they probably fucked up the curve for all the dumbasses in the class. Will ask the professor for extra credit and receive an odd look when the prof looks at the grade book to find out that this person has the highest grade in the class already. This person cannot understand how they missed that question, even though it was multiple choice and they marked A when the answer was E. Will not attend study sessions or socialize with you in class because, trust me, you are just not fucking good enough, even though you will inevitably get the same letter grade/GPA as them.
Note: Once again, Prof Goh CM!! Btw some top students did the same thing as well huh...

I guess that's all, still have lots of facts in that forum post, a great post indeed!! So.... what is your trait then? ;)

Next on the traveling list....

Phew, just after bout 1 week coming back from the Genting trip, I've to prepare for another trip to Hainan isle, China with my family.

Hainan isle(海南岛), is an island located at the southern region of China mainland. It's considered to be the southern tip of China. The climate is tropical climate, so it's warm and humid over there, just a little difference from the South East Asia countries nearby.

This time going there for 6 days, that mean I'll miss this com for another week. I estimate that when I get back here, I'll have at least 500 emails waiting for me to either read it or delete it, heh.

26 Dec only come back to KL, means that this time I'll miss the Xmas celebration with friends in KL, sigh.... Last year's Xmas wasnt a good one, spent Xmas eve night writing a 2000 words essay which havent been published yet, and on the Xmas day 2005 I became a wanderer in the city of Taipei. If I still could remember, I've to check thousands of emails in the mailbox when I get back. It's a nightmare..... :(

Anyway, I plan to get a new pair of football boots over there, if it's possible. Hmm.... can only shop for that on the final day of the trip, and have to gamble with the quality too. China products, either you can use it for a very long period, or you've it spoil just after few times using it. I still trust the quality of the stuff over here in Malaysia.

Still got few days to go, before I away again....

TAR College

The full name is Tunku Abdul Rahman College, not tar... the kind of oil used to make the road....

Yesterday, walk to TARC to search for infos regarding further study over there. TARC isnt that far away, 45 mins walk from my house, heh.

Some friends are going there too, S2 gangs are like unseperatable group that always go anywhere in a whole bunch of ppls. Oh well, I prefer to be alone though, because I dont want others' influence while making decision.

Here's the courses I'm considering to take.

  • Mass-Communications: Journalism diploma
  • My family has a good background on this course. Sis used to study this course at TARC too, so I'm confident taking this course. I think this course is also a stepping stone to further study sociology in degree level, at some oversea universities I suppose? If it's possible, I'll fly to Eu or US.

  • GCE A level in Science
  • Before going to the TARC open day exhibit, this looks like a certain choice. But then science subjects somehow not related to sociology so.... If I'm taking this course, then I'll have these subjects: General Paper, Maths T, Physics, Biology, Chemistry. Oh all these, I prefer GP, Bio & Chem, that's it.

  • Science: Chemistry & Biology diploma
  • I've been thinking of taking this course when I chose to take Science stream in F3. 2 favourite subjects, double major. They say this course is harder than the others because these 2 science subjects require more skills and hardworking to complete it. But then again, it is not related to my 1st choice course, sociology.

How ironic, out of 3 courses I plan to take at TARC, only 1 of them is beneficial to my further study for sociology. Of course, it's possible if I still continue study Sociology later without the base, but it'll be kinda struggling at the beginning.

Should I've made decisions or not, if I've got nowhere to go, I guess I'll stick back to my old school Chong Hwa to complete STPM course in Form6, which is far cheaper but then harder. STPM, my last resort.

    Genting Highlands

I've been away for pass few days to join my friends to enjoy some cool air on top of Genting Highlands. The whole trip was fun, and thankfully nothing awful happened during the whole trip.

It starts with.... 12 Dec Tues, I meet up with friends at LRT Wangsa Maju around 1215pm. Journey up to the Skyway station was smooth, bus and LRTs are operating normally. But then our nightmare starts when we reach the Skyway station.....

The entrance to the Skyway cable car was packed with people. It happaned that like everyone else, we chose to go aboard at the very wrong time, the peak hour that is after the lunch time. Ah well, we've to wait for 1 hour & 30 mins before we can claim a gondola of our own to march to the top of the highlands.

On the way from the LRT station to the hotel room, we've met many schoolmates from the school. The Form6s, E classes, and so on. I've expected to see some familiar faces up there, and yes it meets my expectations. Ahah, Genting is like a pilgrim world for Chong Hwa students, 'eh?

Now this is the colorful hotel we're staying.
    The First World Hotel.
    Genting First World Hotel

Thanks to JinXiang & his father, we manage to book 3 rooms with special discounts. 7 people stay in 3 rooms, including breakfast, and each of us only need to pay RM60 for that, cheap isnt it?

Price tags on Genting are higher than the downhill price tags. Food & beverage here cost at least twice than the normal price we see back in KL. Because of this, we chose to "eat ourselves" by eating junk foods(snack & instant noodle). The only 'deluxe' meal we had is at the Pizza Hut. They say the price differs a little than the normal Pizza Huts down here so, considered as worth the money we pay for the pizzas.

We only start playing at the outdoor theme park on the 2nd day. ChinWei and his crazy friends arrived and went to the theme park at the same day too, so I've 2 bunch of friends I can mess around to play the theme park games.

    Misty theme parkMisty theme park
One of my favourite rides near the entrance. The weather in the theme park change quickly as you can see in the 2 pics. It's just a matter of seconds before the mist warp up everything in the theme park.

The FunKart(Go-cart) is fun, I've managed to secure no.1 spot while racing with others. Nice, the cart no12 is the cart I drive. Many say the karts are slow, it is, but it's also possible to win the race with some skills. My opinion is that you never touch the break pedal unless you're parking the car. Hit the accelerator pedal all the way~~, and yeah plus some fancy skills it'll be better to win it in style. :D

Later on I meet up with the crazy gangs and joined them for a ride to Pirate Ship. Like many other rides, it doesnt look attracting at first but once you play it, you'll only know the fun of the game. This ride rocks!!

The old Pirate Mansion ride is boring, wasted 15 mins to wait for it, and then come out from the ride less than 2 mins. Yawn~

Because of health issue I didnt play extreme rides like the Corkscrew and the Space Shot. I played Corkscrew before when I was a kid and I didnt feel comfortable after that. So it's good to avoid those extreme games as my friends dunno how to handle anything IF something goes wrong on me...
    Corkscrew
    Space Shot

    Corkscrew
The flagship Corkscrew roller coaster track.

    Misty theme park
Late afternoon at the outdoor theme park. Misty....

Later at the evening, we played Sg Rejang water flume ride, which I regard as one of the best rides I ever had. Water splashes, and high speed downfall, left everyone wet, regardless how well you tried to stay dry, heh.
Right after we get out from the water splashes, we went for the Rolling Thunder Mine coaster. Another fun ride, but high fellas have to watch out, as the iron beams are quite low at some point and maybe can cause serious injury if struck the beam.
Last ride for me, the Flying Dragon. Played this before, noticed the track modified into longer track. The only ride I do not have to prepare for sudden downfall like the other coasters did.

2nd days was a fun but tired day. I sleep at 12am eventhough the gangs are planning to gangbang ChinWei. GGz... Oh well I've problem to sleep because I can easily be awaken by lights and sounds.

    Genting

3rd day, it's time back to KL. It was a fogy day.

    Genting SkywayGenting Skyway
The 2 pics show that how low is the visibility from the Skyway gondola. Sort of like, one way ticket?

In the end, I really enjoy this trip. I guess this is the only time I can play those theme park games and really enjoy the rides, because before this I only came with family, and you know some parents are too restricted and too protective to let us play those stuff. This time, exciting and fun is the reply to the parents. Heheh....

Something I'd like Genting to take notice....
  • Improve the noise-reduction within hotel rooms. Some asshole are not considerable for other's, playing and shouting in the room, disturbing other patrons, which sux.
  • Some rides that used to be the big hit in the theme park, is outdated already. They should either improve the quality of the ride, or replace it with something else.
  • Building paints are fading. If this is the answer for the tourist who're coming up here, they'll be disappointed with the terrible building exterior view.
  • Dont you think it's a little messy in the First World Plaza? I think there's something wrong with the planning. It'll be better if they take the shopping mall concept like in the Suria KLCC or MidValley Megamall, which is more spacious. Oh yea, FWP is a little too dark, even during daytime.

    Genting trip

I'm leaving for the highlands of Genting soon in afternoon. Going there with gang of friends, then tomorrow meet up with another gang of friends up there to play the theme parks together. :)

I'm going there for 3D2N so dont expect me to reply any comments or message til 14 Dec that day, hah.
    Good day everyone.

    Kiddies' game

I've started to play Maple Story for almost 1 month, things are getting from good to bad. I still enjoy the game playing myself, but the surroundings affected my gaming experience most of the times.

I notice that, more than 50% of the population in Maple Story consist of underage kids(primary to early secondary standard). Because of this, their kiddiness ruin many's game experience, like scamming people, defame, quarrel, and so on. Imagine what a kid can do to mess up everyone, that's it. As an elder figure, I can tolerate this kind of behavior at some stages, and so far I havent felt totally pissed off. For some, their patience has reach it's limit and ready to blow off those kids away.
I dont label those kids as "noob", because many of them are higher level than me lol. I only refer them as "underage kids" who dont know how to think and act properly. And yes, I do enjoy lashing out sarcastic jokes to reply them.

Have a look at this screenshot. Notice all the pink-highlighted text? Those are called "Megaphones" in the game.
Mind you, you've to pay 450 cash/SGD 0.45/MYR 1.08 to post 1 message on the channel, just like those pink-highlighted text above. So far MapleSEA is serving 2 countries, that is Malaysia & Singapore(occasionally players from other continents), so cash items have to deal in both SGD & MYR currencies.
For Malaysians, we couldnt afford much for those cash items because it's kinda expensive, but for Singaporeans they think it's affordable(especially kiddies). So what they do with those extra cash? They spam the message channel like they did in the screenshot, either they congratulate others to reach certain levels, to express their loves, to defame others or to promote items they're selling.
Gee.... they've lots of money to throw in to celebrate some silly occasions in the game.

Hackers, it's unavoidable in any online games. So far I'm lucky to bump into a hacker, which do me no harm at all. This game has a reputation of having hackers hack the game while the Game Masters taking no action at all.
The character in the middle, xChDitz, is the hacker in this map. I just pass by this map, noticed only that person is in the map but for unknown reasons monsters in the map are killed instantly by an unknown reason. I confronted the person, which the screenshot shows. After that the person "vacuum loot" all the item drops on the ground and then buzz off to somewhere else.
It's hard to describe what's happening, but if you play the game you'll understand it.

The last thing I'd want to say, that this is just a GAME. I dunno why people take it so seriously, like any little errors made by the others is like a disaster to a certain person. I think those people who went mad because of the game is stupid, you read, STUPID!! This game is meant to be entertainment, for fun, not for you to feel frustrated or upset. You got no harm in real life if you've died in the game so many times, or having other people in the game mess with you badly, no matter what they did, it wont leave a scar in your body, well except maybe in the mind of yours.
It happen to be one of my real life friend get frustrated in the game and ended up curse and rant everything bout the game, and then attack other friends as well.

WhiteMemo, you've to learn how to be a humble person. You've played so many online games, and all the time you think you're the boss. This attitude makes fellow players around you felt fed up with you and in the end those people turned from friends to enemies. I personally know how to deal with your attitude, so what you've done doesnt affect me that much like you did to others. I just want to tell you something, that is..
    GET A LIFE YOU FAILURE!!

Right, now I felt better after talk all the bad things in the game. For those who're reading this, and also playing MapleSEA, do pm me in the game if you like. Both my characters are in Cassopeia server.
    VanBeethoven - Crossbowman.
    UraniumMemo - Warrior.
    :)

    10 December 2006

    Travel!

I'll be traveling quite often these few months.

  • Genting, 12-14 Dec,with friends. Enjoy playing those crazy games and meet up with other friends up there.
  • Hainan(海南), China, 21-26 Dec, with family. Wanted to try out the authentic Hainan chicken rice. :P
  • Perth(Australia), 20~26 Jan, with family. Attend my relative's wedding there.
  • Kedah, sometime in Feb, with family. To celebrate Chinese New Year.
  • Either Sabah, Sarawak or Pahang, 18 March - 9 June, going alone. To serve National Service for 3 months.

P/S: Class trip canceled because too few people are going, oh well.
  • Movie Making experience

So far I've made 4 videos using Windows Movie Maker(WMM), a program I once thought it's very sophisticated to use. Now I'm still learning how to master WMM. Everytime I made a new video, I'll learn new stuff hidden in WMM, which I feels good.

To make a good video(in my opinion), first of all you'll need a handful of resources, the photos, videos & music. I get most the photos & videos from myself(either I took it or sneak it from somewhere else), as well as from friends. Finding suitable source is not so easy when you've too many pics together, like the problem I faced during making the latest video. I've to go through all the pics I've took from 2004 to 2006. (@_@)

Secondly, the arrangements & effects are important too. I start from the base, line up all the pics/vids together in a line, like a train, then slowly tweak it one by one, like the train conductor check every cabin in a train.
I just learn that repeating a same pic using some effects will make the pic looks like an animation. I just tried that during the intro of the last video.

So after you've settle the pics & vids, now is the time to decide what mood you want to inject into the video. I personally favor instrumental music in this case, however sometimes I do insert songs with people singing, depends on what kind of atmosphere I want to create. Music with piano is my first choice for background music so far.
Here's a sample: "Purity of Your Smile", from Ragnarok Online.(2MB)

When you think you've done everything, replay the video and check if there's any mistakes or so. One thing I'm not good is that whenever I tweak a part of the music or the pics/vids arrangement, I'll neglected the other parts that will be drag along with the changes too. Like I said, it's like a train, if you move the front to elsewhere, the back will be effected too.
If you watch the latest vid properly, the scene between the videos & pictures in the 2005 part, the word "Showtime!" & the song is a little off beat, that's because I've made changes in the intro so mess up that part. Mistakes are unavoidable sometimes.

Here's a list of videos I've made so far.
  • March 06, 5S2-2006.
  • July 06, friend's birthday video(unreleased).
  • Nov 06, Graduation.
  • Dec 06, Chong Hwa Fragment of Memories 2004-2006.

I do edited few videos from other occasions too, some of them are available on my Youtube page but I dont include those vids in here because I just simply make it to save spaces in the computer without much editing. The vids included this year's School Band final, last year's my birthday party.

That's all I want to share bout my experience of making movies. I enjoy doing this, because it feels good when people enjoy the video, and I've learn another skill. :D

    SPM 2006 Conclusion

    Results I predicted for myself:

  • Never trust 100% on tips, no matter how you trusted the teacher so well.
  • Concentrate in classroom did pay off.
  • Try not to memorize topics, it'll only confuse you during the exam. Understand the concept is more important than memorizing.
  • You dont need to study HARD, but you've to study SMART.
  • Questions in the real exam differs from the questions you read elsewhere.
  • The questions can be easy or hard, depending on your ability.
  • It's hard to score 1A, but it's even harder to fail the subject if you've write something on the paper, as long as it's relevant to the subject you're taking.
  • Relax, the exam isnt that freaky, if you've used to the normal exams in school.
  • Do not look down at teachers, they're helping you secretly eventhough they doesnt look friendly or pleasant in front of students.

  • SPM 5 - Grande Finale

The last 2 subjects, Biology and Geography, both are my favourite subjects. It's fun to have the last 2 subjects set together, and at the very last moment of the whole SPM exam(well in my case).

Biology, paper 1 is easier than previous years, after I've checked all the past year questions. Well paper 2, killer paper. Some of the questions are different than the normal ones, like the whole diagram from DNA -> RNA -> Ribosome -> Protein -> Enzyme. Phew~ that isnt an easy question. :S
The essay part own me badly. Crap, nutrition of a papaya tree, a rabbit and a cow? And explain the rabbit and cow's digestion system? Sheez, I completely miss this topic while doing revision, arghh!!
Well at least, paper 3 still ok, lots of osmosis stuff going on.

For many Science students, Monday after Biology is the last paper. Everyone went crazy after the last paper is collected. Good for them, I've to stand the stress for the next day's Geo paper.

Before this I didnt really bother much bout Geo, until Chun Meng the professor phone and ask me bout my preparation for Geo. He's too nervous to face the subject, saying he prepared all the other subjects except for Geo, and he ended up study Geo from 6pm to 2am that day, before the exam on the next day, crazy....

Our school only have 6 candidates sitting for Geography paper. Paper 1 Geo, after discuss with Ms Lee, I guess I can get 35/40 for that paper. :D
Paper 2, not so bad, manage to finish all the questions including the essays. Hmm.... Hopefully I can score A for this. :D

After finishing all the papers, I'm officially declared free from school exams!!! :D
Later on I approach Ms Lee and get some advise from her bout further studies in Geo part. She told me there's lots of things I can apply from the skills I learnt in Geo on my 1st choice course, Sociology that is. Last year I planned to take Geo because I felt that this subject somehow can help me a little and as a basic for Sociology course I wanted to take in the future. I guess I'm not doing the wrong decision this time.

Ms Lee's being very polite and friendly this time, really, the best ever. She say she'll keep in touch with me if she got a project on hand, and I can learn from the pros how to handle a civil engineering project. Sounds complicated huh.

Anways what's done is done, right now I've nothing to regret bout the mistakes I've done during the exam, it's too late to change it. So.... what I've to do now is to enjoy all the free time and wait til I've something else to do. XD

    Break

Take a few days blogging break first, lots of things to do before continue my stories bout my life again.
Right now training my character in MapleStory very hard, as I'm 1 more level to job change. lol. :P

At the same time, I need enough rest too. Today finished last paper, I deserve some sleep after all the "hard works" I've done to prepare the exams. :)

P/S: Tomorrow evening going to attend class BBQ party at friend house, last gathering for our class I suppose.

    SPM Sickness

SPM's coming near to the end, well lots of things have happened lately. One of the most common problem student faced is health problem.

Before this I did mention my friend Kian Meng was hospitalised due a throat infection, he's sitting for his first paper, Chinese in a VIP suite in the general hospital. So far I havent contact him, and I'm not sure whether he's discharged from the hospital or not, oh crap, what kind of friend I am? :S

In the classroom I sit for my exam. I occasionally heard coughing from behind, but I dunno who's sick because if I turn my head back, I'll be caught for cheating or so by the teacher in charge, which I dont want to happen in this exam.
Classmate Janice's suffering from dizziness and says she might puke anytime during the exam, what's more worse is, she doesnt have a spare plastic beg! Luckily she manage to settle it down swiftly.

You can see some students are wearing jacket, maybe they're cold, and maybe they're sick. It's important to keep your body in good shape during this period of time. You will only suffer more because you've to handle the stress of sickness and the stress of exam. Now this exam is important, so it makes thing more worse for some.

Another case, one of my pal Sun Hua. Many hold high regards on him to score well in this exam, but unfortunately he's suffering from an unknown viral disease(according to his MSN title, I dunno is this a joke or what, but it sounds serious). When I meet him in school, he's a little like half-zombie state. He says he couldnt concentrate well in the exams, making him felt miserable.
CW just told me, Sun Hua will eventually get into good educational institutions regardless of his SPM result, well this fact I've to wait few more years to verify it.

Exam's coming to the end soon, rest well those sickies out there, and enjoy the days after the exams. :D

    SPM 4 - Lethal Industries

This week, is the scariest period of the entire exam, well from Science class' perspective.
Tues ~ Fri we've exams non-stop, those subjects are important and we dont really have much time to prepare for the next subject, so it's a big challenge for us.

Add Math papers, one of my feared subject. I've tried my best to do this paper, but in the end I left out 5 questions from the 2 papers. Thankfully I've manage to finish up the most important Part C in paper 2, I guess I can salvage at least 10 pts from there.
I got a feeling I might get at least 3B?

Physics paper, another feared subject. Well, if I manage to score A for this subject, I consider myself be very lucky because I really didnt put in much effort to study this. My worst science subject of all 3. Anyway, the Phyz paper isnt very hard I guess, manage to complete almost all the questions except 1 essay and 1 structure, oh well.

Chemistry paper, my favourite subject in all 3 science subjects. Unfortunately, I've underestimate this paper. Everyone were shocked when they see the first question of paper 2, ask us bout traditional herb, ginger. Past year papers always set periodic table as 1st question, but this year there's no periodic table and all the questions asked are unpopular topics. Hot topics like salt didnt came out that much, craps. :S
I guess I can book in 2A for this?

Moral, the subject I hate the most. I only read some of the moral values about 1 hour before exam starts. Depends on how the teacher mark my paper, my grade is uncertain, but I'm confident at least, 3B. :)

Phew, that round up this week's exams. I still have 2 more subjects to go, while some friends are starting to enjoy since Monday's the last paper, Bio. For me, I still have Bio & Geo. After Tuesday noon, I'll be free from the evil exams! :D
