Exam update 8 + what's going on lately

To make it short, Bio & Chem arent that hard, but it's more than what I expected. The paper ministry set is always challenging, eventhough leaked questions. I've to admit that in this exam I've got some help from tips, it's an irresistable "drug".

~*THE END*~

~~~~~~
So, that's the end of the trial exam. Burden's gone..... everyone's happy after the exam. This is the 2nd last time we're sitting exam in our school. We stil have about 1 month left to enjoy the life in school, before we're forced to leave the school after the final exam..... Well things doesnt sound so bad after all then. ;)
I got back 4 exam results by now. Scored 1A for both English and Modern Math paper, great! 4B for Chinese(unexpected, teacher said not many ppl can get more than 70). 5C for Moral(as you know, I hate this paper the most).
Right, dont bother about those marks then, I'll write the full list of my result when I get back everything in few weeks time.
Today collected few certificates in school. One for science experiments(PEKA) cert, one for computer typing speed competition, and another is a cert I should've recieve last year, the PMR cert.
Talk about the PMR cert, the teacher asked us to get back into the classes like how used to be in F3. Heh, it's like a mini gathering then, everyone's happy to be back in the old days, 2 years back. I've some great time being with those friends again after some of us are seperated due different class streams. Hah, I'm stil the class monitor from then til now, I'm happy to be serving them again. :D
I've recieved my parcel from US, containing "Yanni Live!" DVD & CD. Yay~!! I'm so happy when I open that parcel, because I expected to recieve it in Oct as what I said in previous post. Sheer pleasure, I'll write a review bout the performance soon, as requested by the poster.
:D
Much anticipated albums
Recently there's 2 albums released, one of Maksim's "Electrik", and another one is Yanni's "Yanni Live! The Concert Event" DVD.
Maksim
Maksim - Electrik
Yanni
If things went pretty smooth for me, I might be able to get Maksim's album at the end of Oct or early Nov, I really want to get it before final exam, SPM starts at 15th Nov!
As for Yanni's album.... heh, I might get it from a source from US soon, I expect to recieve it within Oct, or early Nov. I'll write more about that when I've got the time.
Anyway, here's an interesting video I'd like to share, from Yanni's new DVD.
Video length: 2 mins 30 secs.
If you're really interested with Yanni, this is another video you must watch!
Exam update 7
Moral's over, the stupid paper is now over, phew~
I dont really bother what result I'll get for this paper though.
Tomorrow's having Biology I and Biology II. Tuesday will be Chemistry I and Chemistry II, and then Wednesday will have the final papers, Bio III and Chem III.
Final 3 days to go....
Maksim - Croatian Rhapsody video
Video length: 3 mins 40 secs.
My favourite song by Maksim.
The piano score for this song can be found here.
P/S: I think this video must be ripped from the DVD, video and sound quality decreased... but anyway it's stil nice to watch the video and enjoy the music. :)
Exam update 6 + "Eat ball"
Physic 1, 2, & 3.
Hmm.... other than Paper I, the other two papers LEAKED, again. I got a little tips for P2(only those topics will come out for the exam) and the answer for P3(everything).
Everyone's having a copy of the answer sheet today, since we've to many time to kill before the exam starts at 11am.
The result? I dunno, depends on how Ms Nee mark our papers.
Tomorrow is the paper I hate the most, Moral paper. I think the entire idea of this subject is stupid, a moron's moral wont improve better even if they score A for Moral paper.
Pure uselessness, even History has it's own use compare to Moral. I think the only use of the Moral subject is to add another additional subject on the SPM result sheet, that's all, or perhaps an extra A for someone?
Next week there'll be Bio and Chem paper for us. I've some tips for the 2 papers but it's doubtful. I rather try not to follow 100% according to the tips.
As what I know, I'm better in both Bio and Chem compare to Phyz. A little more revision for those 2 subjects and I'm on!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Friday will not be completed if I didnt touch a football. Today we played F5 VS F5 on the futsal field. It's a messy game, as we're playing 10+ VS 10+ futsal in a used-to-be-basketball court.
I'm the keeper again, since last week's great performance, they're counting on me to be the last man on the field.

The game isnt that bad, I did not concede any goals again. But then, there's risk when playing the game which I've suffered from it today. One of the opponent striker hit the ball hard and I've no time to react. The ball eventually hit straight at my face, chinese/cantonese says 吃波饼, if you know what I mean.
Crap, my braces tear my lips and now I'm waiting an ulcer to form on my lips.... They say, no pain no gain, football is fun, but have to suffer abit in order to really enjoy the whole game, well that's what I think, Worth the injury? Yeah.... thankfully it's just a very minor injury. ;)

Exam update 5

EST 1 & EST 2 , both papers are quite easy for me. I'm a little worried, we do not have the EST test based on the Ministry's paper, I wonder if it's different than the one I had? Stil, Mohd Sukri's questions are always either too crazy or too easy. Sheez.

History 1, lots of unfamiliar names in the questions. Since it's objective paper, I've 25% chances of getting the right answer. Not too worried about it.

History 2, leaked questions. The essay part arent that hard, but my result will depend on how the teacher mark the paper. I've faith with Mr Sulhan who'll mark my paper. But now I better dont bother about it. Let t be.

Tomorrow & the day after tomorrow, there'll be 3 Physic papers waiting me to complete it. Among 3 science subjects, my Phyz is the worst of all three. I cant understand why I cant "absorb" the theories and experiments like I did in Chem and Bio.

Stil, 1 more week to go before the trial exam ends.

18 September 2006

Exam Update 4

+Math 1, not easy and not as hard as I thought. I think I've lost about 13 pts from the paper, either I leave it blank or stuck in the middle while doing. A little numb bout this paper.

+Math 2, the killer paper of all. I was ruined by a faggot who park the car outside my classroom(less than 5m away from me). That guy did not switch off the car engine and the car's turbo exhaust sound is messing up my mind while I'm trying to figure out how to solve the questions.
Damn it, the car parked there for almost 1 hour, before the guy get a girl out, C Pei Yin from S4 and then drive away.
That driver must be a dickhead, petrol price increased crazily and yet he stil left the car like with everything on for 1 hour, great, you rich rascal, if I'm having problem with this paper, I'll blame it on you!! Faggot!!
But then I have to admit this paper is a tough one....

Tomorrow, EST paper, school teachers set this paper, not so hard, nothing to read at all. What I concern is History paper on Wednesday....

P/S: Lots of vulgars, 'eh? Hah, faggot, a quote from my old mate Daniel and also a character from GTA Vice City, Diaz who loves to refer idiots as dickhead. Sorry but today my mood were ruined by that brainless driver.

16 September 2006

Exam update 3 + Feel Good

English 1, 1st essay is a speech which I dont think I write it very well. 2nd essay, the title is "Peace". Ahah, I've so many things to write in this topic, wrote a 500+ words essay, maybe can consider as one of the best essays I've written so far. Hopefully I can get higher marks for this paper. I might post up the essay here when I get back the paper. :D

English 2, I think this is more difficult as the previous 2 language subject's papers. I guess Val's right after all, English paper can be difficult sometimes. Well I think it should've be a problem for me to score A for English. Yay, beg in another A!! :D

Next Monday, Additional Math, a deadly subject I need to study. Next week have to struggle, because there's exam from Monday til Saturday(stupid replacement class)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another fine day for me, after the stressful exam, of course it's time to release the pressure built up during the exam. The solution? Football, of course! It's nice to have the feeling kicking the ball with so much power.
This time I play as goalkeeper, manage to save few nice shots and earned a clean sheet(didnt conceade any goal). Yeah!!
Later walk to Chin Wei's house to collect GTA: Vice City game, but I ended up playing Need For Speed: Most Wanted on his laptop. I'm impress with the overall graphic and gameplay, but too bad my computer couldnt support the game(eat up large HDD size & high end hardwares).
I played this car in the game, a Mercedes Benz SL 500, high-end luxury roadster.
I'm in love with this car, lol.
Exam update 2
BM 1, the essays arent hard, manage to meet all the requirements for the question. First title, the benefits of communication technology. Second title, I chose Malaysia's role in the aid of natural disasters.
Overall, satisfied with the paper, aiming to get more than 100 out of 130 marks. :D
BM 2, one of the most headache paper in the whole exam. Well, I consider it's not as tough as I thought, but the papers from the Ministry are always tricky. Manage to finish all the questions few minutes before the time's up.
Verdict, either B or A for BM, hah!
Math 1, laughing all the way til the end. Manage to finish the whole paper within 40 mins, with lots of time to let me check any mistakes. Thankfully, corrected few errors and silly mistakes. Aiming for more than 38 out of 40.
Math 2, another easy paper. Before the exam I was afraid the questions, but it turn out to be familiar questions. I rarely did exercise for this Math subject but I stil can do almost every questions, except some. Not so bad, maybe I can get more than 85 out of 100? If it's possible, then getting an A for Math is not a dream anymore....
Coming up next, English paper. I've to study the literature part, "Death in the opposite house", "The Necklace" and the characters from "The Pearl". That's all I know for tomorrow's paper. Should've be no problem. :D
Irwin fans 'in revenge attacks'
BBC NEWS | Asia-Pacific | Irwin fans 'in revenge attacks'
Dead stingrays with their tails cut off have been found in Australia, sparking concern that fans of naturalist Steve Irwin may be avenging his death.
My oh my.... the people are really getting crazier these days. Killing stingrays in the name of Steve Irwin is so, so wrong!!
Anyway, we Malaysians have our own way to take on "revenge" for Steve Irwin, we rather burn it and eat is as ikan bakar, and one of the local blogger actually did this.
Mmm.... Pasar Ramadhan is just few weeks to go, and then I can start my "burned stingray" feast!!
Imagine eating the ikan bakar topped with sambal belacan, and then squeeze lime on top of the fish. Mmm..... heavenly!!
Exam update 1
Geo 1, piece of cake. Finish all 40 objective questions within 10 mins. Only 1 question stop me down, the rest, what else can I say?
Geo 2, teacher's not around, after doing the papers awhile we started to chat, not so hard, though it's a little tricky.
Chinese 1, a complaint letter and an essay titled "What's my plan after graduated?" If I didnt make any much mistakes(stupidly wrote 慢 into 漫, crap!)
Chinese 2, looks tough, but overall it's a comfortable paper. I aim above 70 for both papers, hopefully I can get at least 3B, or better. :)
Tomorrow, Bahasa Melayu, some questions leaked so..... heheh.... :P
A little joke
Indirect "shot" to our current government, but this also can be applied in our daily life too, especially some stubborn people.
Tactical System Ready
Picture from "Kingdom of Heaven".
According to battlefield report, the first wave of attack, named "SPM Trial" will be landing shortly on the 12th of Sept 2006. Those who're taking Geo will have an earlier and unexpected exam on Monday. Tuesday there will be Chinese paper, which everyone in the school have to take, without any exclusion.
The battle will last for 2 weeks and 3 days, from 11th Sept to 27th Sept.
It's a silly report, I made it for humorous purpose to ease off the pressure for the trial. After this test there'll be about 1 and a half month to prepare for the final exam, the REAL SPM which starts on the 15th of November.
Wish me luck, and hopefully I can get a reasonable result. :D
08 September 2006
A little unfamiliar
Although I didnt attend the school lesson for just 2 days, I felt things and people changed when I'm back in school. The Geo seminar is a very good opputurnity to revise the subject and experience a different environment. However, the seminar was spoilt by Ms Lee, the evil teacher-in-charge.
Having her in company in a taxi is a very terrible experience, she keeps on ranting and complain all bout students, teachers, school and so on, is like she's the only person who're right in every decison she made. Crap.
She even "thaught" us to do public relationship, is like we know nothing about that. If I really want to learn PR, I'll rather learn it from someone who holds degree in this subject.... She's just a beatch.
Thankfully I did not miss much what the teacher had thought in the school, some of them are rushing to finish the subject before the trial starts next week. Me? I've prepared a little for next week's exam, but no for the other week's yet.
Tomorrow stil have to attend a replacement class for school, not much time left to revise everything.....
06 September 2006
Geo SPM Seminar
It is a useful, and yet boring seminar to be. I felt very tired attend the seminar, although the time is from 8am to 4pm, with interval breaks. Still, I prefer goto school to attend the seminar. I couldnt get too use to the environment there, maybe first time study with so many Malay students? Well I must say the Malay friends I met there are very friendly.
Anyway, now I got the confident of striking A for Geo. :D
The seminar is held at Pusat Sumber Pendidikan Negeri, located at Bandar Seri Permaisuri, somewhere near south-eastern of KL(my activity area is around north-eastern). 30 mins journey with taxi.
Tomorrow's still got another day seminar, dunno how can I deal with it, trial for Geo is next Monday and then Tues Chinese paper..... dreadful.
05 September 2006
RIP Steve Irwin
I know it's a little late, but better late than none. RIP, the Crocodile Hunter.
It's ironic that he's been killed by one of the least dangerous creatures out there, by a stingray. A strike into the chest is more than enough to end a great man's life..... how weak a life is?
Anyway, life isnt fair all the time. Those who suppose to live longer eventually will be taken away earlier than anyone expected. How on Earth those who suppose to be punished did get away from it? It's unfair....
Rest in Peace, Steve Irwin.
Highland Towers collapse ruins
For those Malaysians who still remember the tragedy of the collapsed Highland Towers apartment happened in the 11th of Dec, 1993, the ruins of the collapsed Block 1 is now surrounded by forest.
(Highland Towers on the top right)
Highland Towers collapse
I still can remember I went there to witness the ruins of the collapsed tower when the event occured. I was 4 at that time, I dunno the concept of apartment, all I can remember is the "houses" fall down like domino blocks.
This is the picture what really happened.
It's almost 13 years since the tragedy. There's more info in this link.
SPM Seminar - School
Many people skipped today's class because there's a whole-day SPM Bahasa Melayu seminar for us F5s, well I dunno I should refer them as lucky or unlucky.... Lucky is because it's a very boring seminar, unlucky is maybe they cant get the tips and tricks to handle the exam?
As for me, I did not worried too much, I'm confident I can pass this paper without any much problems. :)
Tomorrow I'm going to attend a Geography seminar course organised by Ministry of Education, at PSPN Cheras, which is located at Bandar Sri Permaisuri, very far away from my activity area. I just did a Google Earth research, it's about 20km from my area.
Very, very far away, and the transportation fee is more expensive than the course's fee. 2 days trip via taxi cost RM 27, while the course fee is just RM 16... RM 43 used just like that....
So far I've a little info about the course, but I was told the course begin from 8am and end at 4pm. I'll miss 2 day's school and tuition session, oh well.
Trial exam for SPM will start this Saturday for Economy paper and Art paper, whereas my exam will start only next Tuesday, Chinese paper.....
Happy Hour Saturday
Ystrdy is a different Saturday than usual, I had another extra tuition class and also attended a concert in school.
It's been weeks since I last saw the Chem teacher, Mr Praga. Learnt about chemicals for consumer, which divided into 4 parts, soap, detergent, food processing, & medicine. Covered food processing and medicine part, very interesting facts of chemicals.
This lesson is not just for chemistry, but it's also useful knowledge in our life. Nowdays almost 90% of the food we eat are processed food, which added various chemicals for some specific purposes. Well, processed food has risk of causing health problem, anyone knows that, I think we're getting more difficult to eat chemical-free food.
Eat at your own risk, that's why I think about, or you prefer eat first, die later? :P
After tuition, ate my lunch and I've nothing to do for 2 hours, before the school concert starts. I ended up playing in cyber cafe for 1 hour(cost RM1.50, price dropped). I'm impress with the graphics in FIFA 2006 and World Cup 2006 game, very smooth if compare to the FIFA 2k5 I'm playing now.
Walk to school and join my friends from S2 around 1.45pm, grabbed nice seats and waiting the concert starts. The concert titled "Steps to The Rhythm 中华乐之三部曲", organised by school's Guitar Club. Today's finalist are mostly my friends, so I'm supporting everyone of them.
Oh btw, there's 2 categories in this concert, solo and duet.
It's a really enjoyable concert, everyone's having great time for the performance and the judges' joking comments. Most of my friends manage to qualify for the final round, the climax of the entire concert.
Willie, the future star and school idol grabbed the best performance award, with the prize of a guitar. I like his singing, but I think he's not performing very well this time, lack of something essential to prove his talent.
Irene grabbed the popularity award, of course. She got lots of fans and her singing stunned the judges as well. She sang "If I aint got you", just like American singer, Mariah Carey & Whitney Houstan. It's just so wonderful, I think she deserves the best performance.
The best duet award goes to Chi Meng and Pui Kuan, two prefect friends of mine. Both of them sang together very well, the best performance so far in the concert. Their finale song, "Coral Sea 珊瑚海" is simply amazing!! Kudos to both of them, they really deserve the award.
Chi Meng & Pui Kuan
They're just like couples, isnt it? :P
I'll try to get more photos from another friend, Chin Wei, he's recorded the concert with her cam and hopefully he can process the media and send to me so I can post it here. :)
Some photos from Chin Wei. I wasnt in the pic because I've left the school at that time.
Freedom~
2nd sis went back to Shanghai last night, ending her 1 month summer holiday here. She and my elder sis are stalking in my blog, and 2nd sis did leave a comment at the chatterbox on the right side(named "ur sis").
Yeah, now both of them are back in China, their net are protected under the "Great Firewall of China", so they couldnt access into this Blogger/Blog*Spot blog. :D
Will keep on blog things as soon as possible like normal days, today's an interesting day for me, will write about it soon!! Stay tune!! :D
I dont want them to know something too private about my life, you see.... and the other family members as well, so that's why recently my blogpost are more to public life instead of my own private stuff. Sometimes I just dont like having any family members tried to manipulate my thoughts.
