Anyway I heard our school scored 296/300 pts in the final, but the other schools outnumbered us.....

Busy busy busy....

This time, I'm busy with my homeworks. I felt guilty for not finishing most of my homeworks in time, I tend to pass up the homework few days later, or even weeks....

Anyway, today's the installation day of the school prefects. The "old ones" will be retiring soon. The announcement of the new head prefect was a shocker to many people. I dont really think he looks like a capable leader for the prefects, but who knows? My friend, the "old" head prefect was a timid girl but she carried out her job very well. Like they say, you cant judge a book by it's cover.

Few more days to the School Band Competition Final at Dataran Merdeka. Hopefully there's supporters will go there to support our school's band. It's sad that my classmates doesnt show any interest going there to show their support. Hopefully there'll be any teacher that'll inform the students about the competition and further planning for our own school too.

For those who're interested joining Chong Hwa's supporter to Dataran Merdeka on this Saturday, here's the details:

Date & Time: Saturday, 22 Apr 06, 3.30pm
Location: Putra LRT Wangsa Maju station.

We will go there by LRT until Masjid Jamek station and walk to Dataran Merdeka. Go there earlier to grab the better seats. The competition starts at 8pm btw.

Challenge

Today is been a challenging for me. The challege? Homeworks!! I've got piles of homeworks yet to be done, but I decide not to think about it. Prefer study in my own way~

Today gotta bring lots of exercise books to school to pass up because the school's gonna have a "homework-checking" session soon. I have to take my textbooks out from my beg.
Because I'm not use to hold books with my hand, this morning I went to school without those 2 textbooks!! I've left the books near the entrance!!
Today I'm having AddMath and Chemistry, both are REAL IMPORTANT subjects that I cant afford to miss, arghh... but it's impossible for me rush back to my house to get the books, as I realised this when I arrived school. :(

Finally, we had our weekly assembly since 2 weeks back. Last week the activity center was occupied to host the "monkey's competition".

The Librarian presented something special today, it's called the Radio Chong Hwa, 中华炫风台. It's a radio-like program runned by the Librarian and PA system commitee during recess time. Not bad, I like the name, a good start for something fresh in Chong Hwa.

Meanwhile, the principal announced this weekend's school band competition. Sigh, he didnt mention the details of the competition, I hope someone like Ms Lee or Mdm Lau will make a clear announcement by this week, if not I'm afraid not many ppl will go for the band's competition final.

I was quite lucky, my friend brought his +Math textbook so we can share. Too bad I did a mistake when solving a question on the whiteboard. :(

I guess I'm lucky, Chemistry teacher was absent today, so no Chem for me. Luckily I didnt bring my book.

Today's English lessons might be one of the toughest for me. Was penalised for not pass up my essay book, as I was absent that day. What's worse is, we've gotto finish an essay, 4 reading programs and pass it up tomorrow!!!
My luck ran out today, the teacher asked me to submit all my books tomorrow in order to let the admin check. OMG!!!

Overall, I'm quite happy today, one of the reason is because I've got a handful of photos to let me play, here I present two samples from my "toys".... heheh.

This week

Damn.... Wednesday's sports lesson was cancaled due the monkeys' competition... from January til now we've just played 2 games from all the PE lessons.... WTF!!

Anyway, I still can compromise that, as the day before I just play football with my neighbours. At least, I still can play football at home even though I cant play at school.

Everything seems to be looking good for me. Other than missing one or two homeworks, I've managed to complete most of the task. I can understand things very fast now. Not that the subject is easy, but I'm in good mood to study. :)

Thursday's chemistry lesson was interrupted by annoumcement through the PA system. One of the teacher is missing, so the principal had to make annoucement few times to order the teacher to shows up in the class immediately. My chem teacher Mdm Nr Hayati wasnt happy with that, gave us her funny comment of the announcement.

Suprisingly, I didnt felt asleep at all in the tuition classes. I've manage to mantain 100% spirit from 2pm to 5.30pm. Usually I cant do this.... Luckily my father fetch me back when I'm done tuition, else I'll have to drag myself to the bus stop 1 KM away to go back home.....

Friday, today is also a great day for me. No prob in all the subjects I learn today.
Dunno why a little sleepy during Phyz lesson.

Today Students Union had annual general meeting. My service to the society is coming to the end. What I can do now is give guidance to the new members that'll take over my post. Good luck to them. I and my friends sneak out from the meeting room soon after they announce the new commitee members.

Whoa.... I've got lots of homeworks to do this week.... Saturday not following my parents goto Genting.... lots of things waiting for me to finish it!!

Monkeys' Competition

Today's Monday, but there's no weekly assembly today because our school is organising volley-ball competition for KL zone. I dunno how many schools are participating, because we're prohibited to watch the competition at all, even though the competition is going on in the middle of the school.

Contestant from other schools are flooding into our school this morning. Many of them arent considerate, they made lots of noise and doesnt shows any respect at all. They treat our school like their own ground, can do whatever they want, especially the Malays.... shout and laugh so loud and practise the game besides our classroom.
Geee.... since when our school become a zoo? Lots of noisy monkeys from other places came and patronize the "zoo".... I'm not happy bout that. >:(

Today I'm doing my English oral test. My teacher Ms Siah prepared a bunch of questions. Ms Siah asked me the reason why independent school students dont speak English, and how to improve the English communication skills. Later she asked my family background, and also my job as the assistant monitor in the class.
Other than the English-improvement questions, I manage to answer the rest without any prob. Scored 29/30, yay!!

Today's AddMath lesson I've learnt Vector, another interesting topic. We're all too concentrate in the class, until we're 15 mins late for recess. We've forgotten the time.

Because of the volley-ball competition, many corridors and passages in the school are blocked, we've to use alternative way to move around in the school. While walking to the canteen, I've met some friends that I occasionaly meet in the school, like Val and her friends.

Chemistry lesson, today continue the chapter about redox reaction. It's good that this chapter actually recalls last year's syllables, I've almost forgotten all those chapters. Oxidation number is fun!!

Well, nothing much happen after that. Another day is almost over...

Football game

Last Saturday went to Setapak Indah to play football with my mates, first time go there and gain some experience playing with them.

Although we can play in school, but we're lack of proper equipment and gears, but playing with our own team at our own ground is a great experience when you prepare yourself with the best gears, and show them the best you can do.

That day we're playing 4v4 with 1 goal, rules' a little similiar to basketball's 3v3 that requires player to take the ball out from a certain area. My team consisted 2 strikers, and 2 midfielders (both offensive and defensive).

I'm cool enough to score the first goal of the game, but later was beat up 2-1 by the opposite team before half-time. I'm lack of stamina, so it's hard for me to chase the ball across the field, the opponent's playmakers are strong.

The match ended 2-2 draw game. I'm quite satisfied as I've slide-tackled the opponent, my favourite technique on the field.

Today's Monday, but my muscle is stil pain. I didnt injured my leg, and dunno why after 2 days the muscle is stil painful.

Actually tomorrow we plan to have another game, but damn today's terrible weather made the field unplayable, so have to call off the game. Oh well.... I stil can wait til this Saturday to play again....

What's happening this week

.... in my life. This week has been a fun and busy week for me. Spent a little time blog about it before I went off. ;)

First, this Monday's school assembly we sang 3 or 4 times of the national anthem, "Negaraku". Why? The principal was not satisfied with the way we present the song, so we're forced to repeat the song over and over again until the man is satisfied, but in the end he's still disappointed.

Next week the school admins will check our homeworks. We're forced to finish up all the homeworks within this week and pass it up. To be honest I didnt complete the homeworks, it's just too much alrdy!!

Wednesday morning witnessed classmates being caned by Chandran for not bringing textbook for Health lesson. Chandran is addicted to caning students, the more students he can, the harder he'll wipe his cane. Ouch!! Luckily my butt is not beaten up because I'm smart enough to hide the truth. :P

Had a nice game of futsal in school with juniors. Hurt myself when trying to head a ball, someone use his leg and nearly injured my neck. Thankfully I'm still ok. Scored 1 goal.

Met 2 ex-schoolmates while on the way back on Friday. One greeted me well, and one treat me invisible. :S

Looking foward this Saturday's football at Setapak Indah with friends. My cousin Lin Jie also join the game too, I'm ready for the kill tomorrow!! :D

Blue-silver VS White- blue

It's all about football boots I'm talking. I got my devilish-red Predator Pulsado last year.

This is the best quality Pulse whereas my Pulsado is the low-end version of it.


I love the color blue and red, of course I'll love to have the both colorway of the boots as a complement to each of them.

This year, Adidas had launched the new colorway of Predator Absolute, the next successor of Pulse series. It's white-blue color-oriented.

Personally, I like the old Pulse than the new Absolute. The color combination of Pulse is way better than the Absolute. Anyway this color of Absolute was meant for teams who wear blue kits, namely Chelsea. Adidas will replace Umbro as Chelsea's kit supplier in the next EPL season.

Notice that the blue leather from both boots are actually the same color, though the Pulse' leather is more flashy than the Absolute's.

Adidas will dominate the football gears market this year, as Germany are helding the WorldCup in this summer, as Adidas is the main sponsor of the whole game. Nike's a little late in the WC campaign, right now they only launched their Mercurial Vapor III series instead of their arsenal the AirZoomTotal 90 series.

Oh for those who dunno, I'm a big fan of football gears like the boots and balls. The gears has the direct impact to the game nowdays.

Ystrdy I featured my schoolmate Val's blog, I finish read the entire blog today. I've noticed that we both have things in common.

We've put on braces to fix our teeth.

Both of us are wearing tie, her green tie for librarian and my yellowish tie for Students Union.

Our hometown are in Kedah.

Always being left out with our societies' activities.

Doesnt talk too much, prefer keep feeling on our own.

Wanted to contribute something to the school before graduate.

Obsessed with computer, the computer is located near the study table.

Same teachers are teaching both of our class this year and last year.

'til now havent talk with her in school, she's probably hide in her library I guess. It's kinda suprise to see we've quite alot things in common. :)

清明

啊....我家人已经有好几年没回槟城扫墓了,这次父亲拿了假期决定会槟城去.回想起来，我也有4年没到槟城去了，所以特别期待这一次回去.

我们在星期六早上 5.30 吉隆坡出发，结果 8.45 过了槟城大桥.我父亲一路上维持着 130km/h 得时速，很快就到了！
在 Bayan Lepas 附近吃早餐，kopi O + 卤面 = 一流！
用过早餐后到坟场去与亲戚聚会.



好多年没扫墓，印象不是很好.只记得坟场是在槟华女校后的白云山坟场.拜祭的对象是我的曾祖母，祖父祖母，和大伯.他们全都是潮州人.我也认清了我的祖先是从广东潮州普宁石泉尾乡来的.



这次的扫墓进行的相当快，我的三伯早些时候先来打扫坟墓，所以我们不需要花太多时间扫墓. 十点开始，两点半结束. 我们之后到白云山上的观音庙去，我从小都很喜欢到这个观音庙. 在山上拍下来的照片也是一流的！





3点到附近的小贩中心吃午餐，我叫了pizza吃，又便宜又好吃!
因为时间还早，我们决定不在槟城过夜，直接回去吉隆坡.我们到我小舅的家冲凉，5.30pm 开车会吉隆坡.
父亲又飞车，8.30pm 到了 Rawang 吃晚餐.10pm 就回到家了.

父亲说等两个姐姐回来过暑假，或许还会到槟城来游玩，到时候可以慢慢逛整个槟城!!
