Dinner with Collegemates

Tonight had a round of bak kut teh with a few collegemates. This is pretty much the last time I'll be meeting with those friends, kinda sad but well, life goes on as usual~

Waited in the restaurant for 1.5 hours with Miau Lik as the other 3 are having some problem with the transport. Well I don't really mind to wait though, chatted with Miau Lik to kill the time.

I didn't take pics of the food as I'm not a photogenic blogger, I prefer to describe things through words heh.

I noticed that on the table there're youngsters coming all over the states in Malaysia.

On the local scene there's me, grew up in Kuala Lumpur and been living here for 19 years+.
Sitting beside me is Miau Lik hailed from Manjung, Perak.
To my left there's Justin who fly all over from Kuching, Sarawak.
On the opposite side there's Phaik Ying coming down from the Penang isle.
Lastly there's Hong Liang, who're from the southern state of Johor, in the town of Kluang.

Hah, too bad we missed someone from the east coast though, Woay Yen would be a good addition into the list since she's from Kuantan, Pahang hahah.

At this stage we're discussing with friends where to possibly further our studies. Exchanging such information is important to know where peoples are heading and any potential university that you may interest in.

A few notable friends are heading to IMU. Justin's one of them, along with Donathan & Chie Guan. I heard Ivy's going there too. I think there'll be more people heading there but I dunno them for now, that's a popular place to study medical and pharmacy as most of us know.

Miau Lik & Hong Liang still haven't decide though, they're going to decide when they got the result next January/February.

Phaik Ying says she's interested in pharmaceutical, with the ambition wanna create the drug that could fight HIV/AIDS, and then to win the prestigious Nobel Prize. Very ambitious indeed, wish her luck as the drugs can possible cure millions of people around the world.

I'll try to keep in touch with other friends via various networks, either from social networking sites (Facebook & Friendster), MSN chat or SMS.

Build up the social network circle can be crucial for your future career, whom you met today may turn to be someone you'll be partner up someday in the future.  :)

The friends I've met in college are really a bunch of nice peoples, I appreciate and thank you all for giving me such a wonderful experience to study with you all in TARC!

We shall meet again someday, somewhere!  :)
