Another SPUS SMS (School of Pre-U Studies Science & Maths Society) outing, this time is to a chemical factory specialised in producing rubbery stuffs. The factory is located somewhere in Petaling Jaya, quite close to NAZA auto mall.
Looks rather plain from the outside hmm...?
Cam-posing before moving into the core of the factory.
We're taken into a few different chambers where the different process of making the rubbers. One of the chambers are filled with ammonia, NH3, a substances I really hate to smell it. Duh.... most of us hate the smell as well for it's infamous properties irritating smell. I'm feeling a little dizzy even after stepping out of the chamber. The ammonia is used to remove the rubber from the machine, something like that.
Different types of rubbers, plain, textured, coloured, etc.
The mainly export the finished goods to China, a large appetite market, heh.
"Balloon bursting" experiment, to test the strength of the rubber. As you can see here, quite tough lol.
Different brands & styles, same product.
The artificial flavours added for pleasure. There's lots of type there, orange, peach, green tea, etc. Sounds like ordering beverages lol!
Donathan with his balloon!
The other product the factory's making.
On the way back, in the bus. Ah, TARC's bus is so comfortable!! :D
The sample they gave. It's useless to me, so I gave to Chen Ping, though he's underage lol.
Funny and enjoyable trip, hahah SMS activities are getting more and more interesting lol!
