My personal blog started in Nov 2004 archiving some of the memorable moments in life. It's also a journal of my personal development from a computer-loving teenager to becoming a digital marketer based in Tokyo. I may have a laughter or two when I read the entries again sometime in the future.

Change in Time-table
Last Wed I did not attend her last GP lesson because lecturers before her are absent, so most of my classmates, including myself didn't turn out for the lesson. Only a handful of 'em turn up though.
I thought she'll get mad if she knew she's been thrown out of the classroom because of our complaints, so I dont wanna face to face with her in this kind of tense situation.
I heard from friends of C class, who attended her last lesson on Thursday. She only found out that she's been replaced by Marilyn that day, and she wishes us all the best and feel free to message her if we're having problems. I only heard of this, I dunno what's her reaction upon hearing the news.
Actually we students knew this weeks ago, but we thought she knew it as well, so we mostly kept quiet in the class.
To be fair to her, the last few lessons I attended are quite OK, very kind that type. Now I felt sorry for her though. But for the long run we really need a better tutor.
We pay for the fees, so we're eligible to ask for a decent lecturer. Now this is not a single student's problem, it is 2 class of students complain together, so I think we're not doing over the limit 'eh?
So now let's talk about Marilyn, the replacement GP lecturer. As I mentioned, she is the first GP lecturer I had. She taught us for 2 weeks before the holiday break at the end of May, and eventually she's been placed to teach diplomas.
I think we'll enjoy her class well, because she's very good at making jokes while explaining stuffs and facts. I'm prepared to face more essays and presentations to come under Marilyn's reign.
I will only have her class on Thursday, and a freaky 2 hours lesson with her! Good or not? I'll report it when I had her class.
Testing Video blog
I wanan test out the Blogger video post, so here is it.
The video features Johnson(the pro!) playing the Para Para Paradise arcade machine, while me "dance" awkwardly ala William Hung style lol. I'm the one in green btw, first time playing this machine so of course I'm off the style, which embarrassed myself in front of friends.
This video is taken from Suyin's Sony Erriksson phone(one of the W series), and because of it's 3GPP video format I couldn't edit it with Windows Movie Maker.
Coming back from Ipoh
For your information, this is the first time I actually visited Ipoh and explore this old town. Previously I only stop-by this town for dim sum, then continue travel to the north. This usually happen during CNY, and the last time we went there for dim sum is quite some time ago.
This time I got the chance to feast on the signature dishes from Ipoh, namely the chicken rice, white coffee & traditional biscuits(香饼). Whatever I eat here taste good!! According to the locals, food establishments wont last for few weeks if the food they serve is not "standard" enough for the locals' taste. So that means, whatever you eat in Ipoh, the food quality is guaranteed so you can dine in without worrying whether the food is good or not (unless your taste is different, I'm talking about Malaysia Chinese's taste here).
The actual reason I came to Ipoh is to climb one of the hill (actually is just like morning walk up to the hill). Unlike the previous hike to Bkt Bendera in Penang, this hill is much easier to "conquer" as it is not as steep as the Bkt Bendera.
I haven't process the camera, so no pics for now. Tomorrow gotta back to college again, and I'm glad now we're using the new time-table starting from this week. I'll follow up this in the next post.

Ipoh
I'll be back on Sunday, maybe after lunch? 'til then ciao.
I wont miss the chance to eat the famous chicken rice there!! :P

There's always something special bout the food they sell in pasar Ramadhan.
This pic shows an ikan pari bakar (roast?/grill? stingray), murtabak special (make it like a roti canai instead), and the sup tulang (bone soup). It was a great meal, though the cost is a little too much for a person's dinner.
It burns away RM 15 from my pocket just to get these 3. Worth it? Maybe a little too much for a student like me, hah.

Why Do I Blog?
This is a contest with prizes sponsored by 5xmom (http://chanlilian.net) who runs the Make$ Money$ (http://www.5xmom.com) blog and she is contributing back to the blogging community with the money she earned. She will be giving away monthly prizes if this contest is popular. Please encourage your readers and friends to participate as well.
Auntie Lilian, one of the famous blogging figure of Malaysia decided to hold this contest for fellow bloggers to participate. I'm aiming for the free domain reward, or even the better, 1 year free webhost + domain! For a blogger like me who relied on Blogspot host for years, getting a webhost and domain is a big step forward as a blogger. :)
So here's my entry for the competition...
* It's a little hard to shrink all the contents into 200 words, please dont penalise me if I write more than that lol. Thank you. *

Although there's still a month plus to go towards this blog's 3rd anniversary, I think I should share with you something about my blogging career, as I only talk seriously about it once in awhile.
Ever since I start blogging near the end of 2004, I've noticed my writing skills improved alot. Many factors have contributed to this, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mdm Tan SL, Ms Santhi & Ms Siah SC who've been great teachers in helping me improve my Eng back in the school. Nevertheless, blogging did help alot, as it is through this medium I practise my essay-writing(dont wanna waste papers so... heh). I know there might be a few grammatical errors here and there in the writing, but it's still much better than last time before I started to blog.
Not only I've improved in my writing, I can speak much fluent now.
When I was Form 2, I found out that I've a terrible time in communicating with my teacher who speaks Eng most of the time. I still remember that I couldn't even speak to her properly, making me felt ashamed of myself. Of course there's something to do with my background also, as I'm from a Chinese-educated family(stereotypically, Chinese-Ed students are not good in Eng, though there're some exceptional cases).
Now, I can speak and write without problem. I work on it through the computer, and most of the time I spend it on reading and writing blog. :)
Sometimes I'm surprised by the power of blogging. Creating and maintaining a blog is absolutely free, and yet in return I could earn something from this free stuff! So far I've received a DVD & CD of Yanni(great musician and composer!), and not to mention the Adsense cheque which I got last month. I'm not so fond of money, but I think anyone will be delighted to gain something for the effort they put in! I can slowly earn my pocket money in this way, so that I do not always have to ask for money from my parents.(though I only need to open my mouth when I need to buy something I couldn't afford lol).
Through blogging, I've met many new friends from the blogsphere. There's quite some of them, and getting know people from different environment is appealing to me. To be honest, I'm not good in socialising in real life, but I'm doing quite OK on the Net, I do enjoy chatting on MSN or email. I have friends from the other side of the hemisphere, as well as friends from other continents. Learning things that's happening around them is cool, especially things that I couldn't experience over here, like snowing.
Blogging helps me alot to interact with peoples from different part of the world, so called globalisation eh? Heh.
Of course, the main reason for the existence of this blog, it is my e-Diary(again, save papers, save trees lol). I used to write things 'bout what's happening in the school, and now life in college. This blog works some sort like pensieve in the Harry Potter series. Of course, it's a diary that is meant to be open for the public, so I can only say this is a semi-private diary, hah. Like most teen's blog, it is the place to express my feelings and thoughts too, as there's no good listener around to share the feelings with. At the same time, unlike most teens who love to shout and rant 'bout their lives in the blog(with lots of vulgars and curses), I approach problems in a more respectful & peaceful manner. :P
Reading things that have happened in the past really brings back a lot of memories, especially the life during my secondary school days, which I regard as one of the best in my life so far.
That's all I think I'll share today, maybe something more at some other days 'eh? Anyway should I chosen or not for the competition, shall be decided by Aunt Lilian herself. This is what I think about my blogging career so far, it's now up to the others to judge it. :)
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
I think this should be labeled as another 'masterpiece' lol. Nice one, and I hope maybe you can give me some comments to? I dont mind if it's harsh or so, just tell me what do you think about my blog. ;)
P/S: Thanks purefaith helping me to fix the grammars. :D
Chased by the Rain
Although there's the last GP lesson handed by Mdm Kalaimathy, I dont think I'll stay in the college til the end to attend her class. Let it be a speechless farewell. I'm not the only one doing this though.
Well, for today's last lesson we having Ms Chong's Bio lecture. Another enjoyable session with her, teaching us bout plant's translocation(very boring stuff, but she manage to get our attention to it by jokes). When her lesson is almost end, the sudden downpour stuns everyone in the lecture hall(since the lecture hall is sound-proof, if we can hear something from the outside means it must be some big bang or so).
I actually wanted to grab my lunch and head home after the Bio lesson(12pm), but since the weather isn't good(plus I lazy to take out my umbrella), so I head to CIT lab to continue reading Naruto comic, online. I spend about 1 hour inside there, thought that the rain might slows down a little.
The rain stopped when I take my car. Chin Ying, my classmate ask whether I'll be staying for the GP class, and I said no. She say she might be the only one to attend her class, as the other classmates left already, hah.
There must be something funny with the rain today, as I was about to get out of my car to buy my lunch, it rains again. This time I didn't prepare my umbrella, so I can only wait at the stall for the rain to stop again.
While I was waiting, I noticed 2 of my classmates, Lei Mun & Yuwei walk pass on the other street back home. Poor thing, 2 person sharing 1 tiny umbrella, they must be really wet when they reach home. I want to offer them a ride back home but I cant do that since I'm stuck and I cant get the car. lol....
I decided to run for my car eventhough it's still raining. I was lucky enough to get there quickly, as the rain rains even heavier when I'm inside the car.
When I reach home, I found myself stuck in the car because the rain is too scary until I cannot open the umbrella properly. I dont wanna stuck in the car for too long, so I decided to get out from there without taking anything other than the food.
I felt that today I'm destined to be soaked by the rain. I tried to avoid it but at the end of the day I'm still wet. Hah

Naruto Manga
For now the only reason I turn on the Internet is to read this comic. LOL.
I know I'm very outdated to read the comic now, as my friend just gave me the link recently. Hah, real good stuff, I've to admit this is way too cool than Gundam SEED Destiny.
Sorry for me lacking of update this blog for awhile. I've something to write about yesterday's briefing talk by Mr Roy Abraham, a representative of University of Portsmouth. I mention it here so that maybe I can remember write the whole story what happened that day. For now, let me enjoy the manga!! :D
P/S: Just now during break I sneak into CIT lab to continue the manga. I didn't notice I was 10 mins late for Chem tutorial already, well luckily I've finished reading 15th chapter out of 300++ chapters, lol.
22 September 2007
Finally I got a free weekend....
Previous 2 Saturdays I have to wake up early as usual to attend replacement classes. I cant wake up late on Sunday because I'm having football game.
What am I going to do this weekend? Sort out photos for movie-making, rest as much as I can, and went to watch some sort of performance on Sunday afternoon.
Nice, I really appreciate to have a real good weekend where I can sleep!!
Dont call me pig, but sleep is very important to me in order to perform well and concentrate when I'm awake. :D
21 September 2007
Sisters coming back....
As usual, I'm expecting gifts from them. :P
I'm involved in the preparation as well. I'll make a photos presentation in the form of WMV movie(via Windows Movie Maker), which I'm getting better in it. Sis will get me an external harddisk to deal with pics and videos.
They'll be back around 12th Oct, so 'til then I'll be the only one who "dominates" at home, hahah....

Unusual Thursday Menu
Another good day where we're able to finish the Chemistry experiment before the 1 hour mark, means we've more time to spend for our lunch.
Today the gang decided to go Jusco for lunch, which means go for something more expensive than the usual TBR menu. Since Tang Yang dont have the car, so I'll be the driver to Jusco, lol. It's not far away from the college, so I dont mind that.
We ended up in one of the smaller teppanyaki restaurant. I ordered salmon bento set, cost around RM 15, taste not bad and nothing to shout about though. Perhaps is the serving portion, you know, not sufficient to satisfy my big appetite. :D
I want something more, but of course it'll be more costly then.
After lunch we still have 1 hour to kill, we spend some time in the arcade session. It's been ages I went to the arcade and play, so no harm I hang out with some games 'eh? I enjoyed playing the games there, especially the Virtual On mechs battle arcade. Long long time ago I played this on the computer, so I found myself in a familiar situation, where I easily disposed Johnson's mechs(we're playing VS mode).
The games are fun, but I'm running short of money and we've to go back to college for the last lesson of the day, Physics practical.

Students VS Lecturers
Let's start with something funny first. Today, Mr Yap the Applied Maths lecturer stuck with a question. Yea, suppose to be a simple question, yet dunno why he lead all of us into very complicating calculations. Some questioned him, who're a holder of Master's degree, couldn't even solve that simple question. Anyhow he soon realised what's wrong with the calculation and finally solve it.
Hah, it is very unusual to have the chance to tease him, since he like to poke some of us during the lessons. Besides, he's very playful at times so no harm making jokes of each others in the class. :)
Mr Low, the Chemistry lecturer also got himself stuck while explaining the factors that affect the equilibrium constant. He's trying the best to explain the concept to us, yet we students still couldn't accept it. We ask him to use some other ways to explain it and he couldn't do that. He said he'll try to find solution for that and show us again during Friday's lecture again.
During Bio lecture, Ms Chong informed us something regarding ourselves and herself. First, she said our time-table will be rescheduled because B(my class) and C class complained bout the GP teacher Mdm Kalaimathy, and the admins decided to replace her with Ms Marilyn, our 1st GP teacher. Because Ms Lyn is only available for morning's class, so we have to rearrange the time-table, as currently our GP classes fall on afternoon. Poor A class students, they've to changed their time as well to fit in our new time-table because all of us are having the same lecture lessons. Depends on how things work out, the faster we'll switch our time next week, or the later by next month.
The good thing is, from now on we'll have a better GP teacher. The bad thing is, more GP homeworks to come(Ms Lyn love to give homeworks minutes before the class ends), and I expect I wont be able to enjoy usual 8am-3pm routine anymore.
Back to Ms Chong herself, she inform us earlier bout her absence for next year's March. Her reason is she's taking maternity leave that time, so she's afraid that will affect our Bio lessons for next year. Hmm.... a little surprise to realised she's actually married, but by her appearance and teaching style she does look like a single lady. We're likely to get a lecturer to replace her next year though, and I hope that'll be Ms How taking her place. Ms How is our Bio practical lecturer for now, and she's as good as Ms Chong too.
Today's last lesson is Mdm Kalaimathy's GP. We had some communication problems with her, and in the end the admin bow to our students' pressure and decided to investigate her. They found there IS some problems with her, so the admin grant our wish to replace the teacher. As I said the replacement teacher will be Ms Lyn, I'm happy bout this.
Mdm Kalaimathy did not turn out for today's class though. Class rep sms to inform us, so I guess we maybe end our lessons with Kalaimathy in that way.
Then again, Ms Chong advised us not to taken for granted this time. She says sometimes we get what we want, but sometimes we'll only make the matter from bad to worse.....
The harmless jokes, and the bitter tension between students and lecturers, can be something uncertain, though.

Before departing PLKN

OK I just found this pic dated back 6th May 2007, the day upon my return from the National Service life in Sabah. I got it from my friend's Friendster photos. Ahahaha, now recall that day reminds me alot of stuffs bout my NS life.
From the pic you can see a balding Cliff standing on the left, next to him is Jerry who're currently doing STPM at TARC too. I sometimes bump into him in the Pre-U block, heh.
The lady in green is Yuki. She's currently doing diploma course in TARC also, but no chance to meet her. I havent meet with all the friends who're studying in TARC yet!
The lady in pink is Shmily who're from Sabah. She's now doing a nursing course in Cheras.
This pic, maybe is something new for those who wanna see how do I look like when I'm in NS.
A Friendly Warning
Be nice with me, else I can be manipulative over certain things, which is costly for you/all.
Your uprise or fall, will have to depends on my decision.
There's something in life that I faced but it's only meant to be known to myself and the other party. I hate to keep secret, yet there's something I must've hide it no matter what.
Like I said, I dislike to write anything bad about anyone. Even if I'm critical to a particular party, at the end of the day I hold no grudge against him/her/them.
I do not want this blog to be labeled as another low quality teenager's blog who rants all the time bout their terrible life(which it's very good actually, just that they don't realise how lucky they are 生在福中不知福).
It's a very hard for me to decide whether I should write it here or not. I cannot share this problem with anyone, neither close friends nor family. This is just my own problem, and it's driving my mind wild at this moment.
What I can do is write out what's in my mind here, to release part of the tension from my complicated brain. Yes I said complicated.
I dunno how should I describe myself as upset, disappointed, angered, frustrated or so. I don't think these adjectives speaks out what I feel now. From the way I write you can know it's something negative.
Perhaps this song could somehow describe it?
"Drink Up Me Hearties" by Hans Zimmer, from the OST of Pirates of the Caribbean III.
The truth, it can be annoying, disturbing and suicidal. Well, that's the truth. If not, why so many people out there kept denying the truth?

Nike's new stuff for 2008
All right, I've been talking alot bout Adidas' products, so now let me introduce Nike's stuff planned to be released next year spring.
If you're not aware, we'll see Switzerland and Austria hosting the EURO 2008, so football makers would not miss this chance to promote their latest stuffs to be offered to the players and the fans.
I took these screenshots from a PDF file through one of Nike's official sites. I'm pretty sure we'll see these boots running on the field by next year.
* click for larger pic *
Mercurial Vapor IV

Nike redesigned this top range football boots. The Vapor series is one of the highlights of Nike's football range, as this boots are endorsed by skillful player like C Ronaldo. This boot profile is Speed/ Lightweight/ Agility.
I dunno what do you think, but this new boots look odd to me.
Air Legend II

I like the Legend series because it maintains the classic look of a football boots, not flashy and yet performance-wise. There's no particular type of players suit for this boots, as it's very flexible for most positions, from GK to striker. The profile reads Classic / Comfort / Heritage.
This new Legend series still retain most of it's original look, looks more like a facelift than a new generation.
Total90 Laser

This boots just launched this year, yet many players start to go on the field with 'em. This new facelift versions now adds an additional colour to the boots on the "web-ring" upper.
I'm still skeptical bout this unorthodox boots. But, it looks like Nike might replace the successful AirZoomTotal series with this.... maybe.
This boot profile tags Power / Accuracy / Performance.
Pic of the new ball. This ball is very unlikely to be a premium matchball(the balls used by EPL or Spanish La Liga). I judge this by looking at the price tag. The usual matchballs cost about USD 100.

There's something else to be offered in the PDF file. Here's the link to dwnld it. (1.8 MB)

Yanni's "Nightingale"
The speech before the song performed gives you some ideas how this song is made, of course by the composer Yanni himself.
My favourite piece by Yanni, I hope you can enjoy it as well. ;)
Futsal at Air Panas
Since it's a futsal court, we dont have to change boots or so. One can play bare foot too. The ground is concrete ground, which is a little slippery but good for bare footers. This ground, if compare to TARC's futsal court, is much larger and better pitch(TARC's futsal court is on tennis turf, too much friction & grip for futsal).
We had a 3V3 match, without the GK at both ends, meaning that all 3 players are on field players and no guards for the goal. It's a good game, though I've made mistake by trying to slide tackle the opponent, which is illegal for futsal. I cant help it, it's my favourite move. :P
I did scored a few goals, but I've lost count as I think I've scored more than a double hat-trick. No point to count those goals, because we're playing without GK. I can simply pop the ball into the goal if there's space for me to do so.
Hmm.... we'll see what can we play on next week. If the weather is good, we might still go on at the home ground. If not, the chances of playing in the futsal court again is pretty high. Heh.

Flickr Pro account
After transferring my photos from Yahoo!Photos to Flickr, Yahoo! upgraded my Flickr to the Pro account without any cost.
This Pro account is only valid for 3 months 'til 7th Dec, so until then I can enjoy all the benefits of Flickr pro~ :D
I've been wanted to have this Pro account because of all the photos I've uploaded to Flickr since 2005. Most of the pics I took at the school are uploaded to Flickr, also serving as another backup option.
The free account limits only 200 pics to be displayed to the public, whereas the rest of them are stored in the database but not visible. Pro account doesnt have this limit, so all my photos are coming back to me once again! :D
Anyway I'm seeking for a sponsor to extend my Flickr pro account for a year. Hah I know this pledge is a little lame, but credits will be given to the sponsor if there's kind & generous people out there.
It cost USD 24.95 for a year, or USD 47.99 for 2 years.
I think it is worth the money for the service they provide. I'm satisfied with Flickr's services, and I dont mind spend some money into it. :)

Understanding Engineers
Understanding Engineers - Take One
Two engineering students were crossing the campus when one said, "Where did you get such a great bike?"
The second engineer replied, "Well, I was walking along yesterday minding my own business when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike. She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, "Take what you want."
The first engineer nodded approvingly, "Good choice; the clothes probably wouldn't have fit."

Understanding Engineers - Take Three
A pastor, a doctor and an engineer were waiting one morning for a particularly slow group of
golfers. The engineer fumed, "What's with these guys? We must have been waiting for 15 minutes!"
The doctor chimed in, "I don't know, but I've never seen such ineptitude!"
The pastor said, "Hey, here comes the greens keeper. Let's have a word with him."
"Hi George! Say, what's with that group ahead of us? They're rather slow, aren't they?"
The greens keeper replied, "Oh, yes, that's a group of blind fire-fighters.They lost their sight saving our clubhouse from a fire last year, so we always let them play for free anytime."
The group was silent for a moment.
The pastor said, "That's so sad. I think I will say a special prayer for them tonight."
The doctor said, "Good idea. And I'm going to contact my ophthalmologist buddy and see if there's anything he can do for them."
The engineer said, "Why can't these guys play at night?"

Understanding Engineers - Take Seven
An architect, an artist and an engineer were discussing whether it was better to spend time with the wife or a mistress.
The architect said he enjoyed time with his wife, building a solid foundation for an enduring relationship.
The artist said he enjoyed time with his mistress, because the passion and mystery he found there.
The engineer said, "I like both."
"Both?"
"Yeah. If you have a wife and a mistress, they will each assume you are spending time with the other woman, and you can go to the lab and get some work done."

Understanding Engineers - Take Eight
An engineer was crossing a road one-day when a frog called out to him and said, "If you kiss me, I'll turn into a beautiful princess."
He bent over, picked up the frog and put it in his pocket.
The frog spoke up again and said, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will stay with you for one week."
The engineer took the frog out of his pocket, smiled at it and returned it to the pocket.
The frog then cried out, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a princess, I'll stay with you and
do ANYTHING you want."
Again the engineer took the frog out, smiled at it and put it back into his pocket.
Finally, the frog asked, "What is the matter? I've told you I'm beautiful princess, and that I'll
stay with you for a week and do anything you want. Why won't you kiss me?"
The engineer said, "Look, I'm an engineer. I don't have time for a girlfriend. But a talking frog ... now that's cool."
The Unusual Day in College
It's unusually dark when I reach the college this morning, everyone sitting outside the classrooms and lecture halls, I wonder why. When I reach there only I realised that there's something wrong with the electricity. It's so dark you know.... although it's early in the morning. Everyone waited outside their respective classrooms or lecture halls, and at 8am the lecturers join us as well. They cant teach if there's no electricity, so the lecturers sit around chit-chat bout the fact that maybe the earthquake causes the college's electricity's failure, hahah.
The lecturers call off the lessons around 8.30am, so we've lots of time to kill as our next lesson is the chemistry practical lesson(which not affected by the electricity) at 11am. My friends decided to take the balls and play, so I drive Johnson back to the hostel to collect the balls.
On the way going back to the college's compound, a metal rod struck the rear left car tyre, making noises and of course, punctured(spell like this?). I called my father and tell him, and then he contact the mechanic from the car workshop to help me check the problem. Too bad I dont have a camera phone, if not I'll show you how the metal rod pierce into the tyre.
It should be an easy job to change the tyre, but the mechanic says the spare tyre doesnt have enough air either, so no choice but to wait for him to get all his stuffs to help me fix the car tyre. Since I still have class later, so he says he'll help me with the tyre once my class is over. I think this shouldn't be too much trouble as changing a car tyre is much, much easier than replace spare parts under the hood. As for the cost, my father will help me settle, thankfully. :D
The car's problem doesn't ruin my mood to enjoy few hours of sports with my friends. Played volleyball today, nice! Hahah playing volleyball with some help of football tricks, heheh.
Around 10am plus the electricity supply back to normal, but because less than half of the class is present in the lecture hall, the lecturer Ms Ngow decide not to continue the lesson. After that we went for the chemistry practical, which is relatively easy as we only need to measure the temperature changes, do some simple calculations and finish off today's work. Most of us finish it less than an hour.
Lunch time, went to our "hot-spot" at TBR. I ordered a hakka mee(big), which is nice. It's not that expensive, and the generous amount serving, definitely worth for it!
Well that's what I'm up to until today. Afther the lunch I head down to this CIT lab to type all this thing, hahah. Later there's still 1 more physic practical, then after that I get my car tyre fixed and go home, nice.... :)
P/S: A new addiction in me, NFS: Most Wanted that is. Although it runs a slow on my com, still it's a nice game!! This is a real computer-killer, as it needs a lot of HDD space(almost 3GB!) and higher RAM capacity(I'm still on 256MB). Oh well....
UPDATE:
So I send the car to the workshop to fix the tyre. Luckily everything turns out fine(except for the punctured tyre, which cannot be used anymore). The bill, if not mistaken would be around RM120.
Maybe this would illustrate how the metal rod stuck into the tyre. This is just a simple visualisation.
When I get back house, I check the mailbox and received the Ubuntu CDs I've ordered few weeks ago. Unfortunately 2 of the CDs are mess up because the package is soaked with water(rainy day). I dont think I'll use that 2 CDs because CD suppose not to have contact with water, especially the glossy side. Still, I got 1 remaining CD which is dry....
Blame the weather! Few days ago so hot and it rains at the time it doesnt suppose to rain! Nevermnind then, I still can order the CDs again, hahah.
Just now during Physic practical when I'm calculating some figures, I noticed the table and the stool shakes a little, which I suspect is the effect from the quake tremor.
Sigh, Malaysia soon cannot declare itself as a land without the deadly natural disasters. Now, we've to include ourselves in the list of the countries vulnerable of quake and tsunami attack, although most of the time those cases happened in Indonesia, but being it's neighbour country we could feel the effect as well.
Singapore also included in the list too, as it's sandwiched between M'sia and Indonesia.

Some cars from FIMS
Mercedes Benz F 700 Research Vehicle
I think this car is strange, really is. I thought the earlier Ocean Concept is weird enough, and this just make things weirder. I'm not sure whether this car will be placed on par with S class, or maybe sandwiched in between S class and Maybach? The only good think I can talk about this car is the rims...
Mercedes Benz SLC
A possible replacement for current Mercz SL, classified below the Mercz McLaren SLR. Note that this is just a computer generated graphic, until now the prototypes still undergoing testings.
BMW X6 SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle)
New addition in the BMW's X series line. I think this car should be classified as the elder brother of X3 and X5 series. Possible a contender for SUV class cars like Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7.
Something new for Italian Lamborghini family.
Lamborghini Reventon
A very, very, very cool car!! Too bad only 20 of these will roll out from Lamborghini's factory. An edgier incarnation of the Murcielago. 'til now only got these graphics available. Only 1 word can describe this car, SEXY!!

Your favourite sports?
Those who read this blog would know I'm into football/soccer the most. I guess I dont need to elaborate further bout my view for this one. ;)
You know, my secondary school's admins are not very keen on football, they tried to limit students to play football by banning students play it in the activity centre, and also turn the football field into a car park. As for me I've to find alternatives for football at school....
Basketball is the most popular choice for students. I used to play basketball back in the primary school days but for unknown reasons I find it less appealing to me. Basketball usually is my last resort for sports game if there's nothing else I can play.
Another popular sports among students is badminton. This used to be my favourite past time before football dominates within myself. When I'm younger I used to challenge neighbours for badminton games. I dont play this so often in secondary school, so my skills are rusty now.
Table tennis, or ping-pong is my 2nd choice of sports after football. Thanks to my classmates who're members of the table tennis club, I can sneak into the court room to play whenever I want, say during classes or after classes.
I prefer to curl the ball instead of smashing during gameplay, because this trick can confuse the opponent thinking the ball will went to a side but when the ball hits the table it'll bounce to the other direction. :D

World Cup 2006 PC game
I know, this is not a new game, but I think I had enough of playing 2 years plus of FIFA 2005.
After all, I can remake the history of last year's World Cup, which to me is a disappointment.
I just guided Brazil won the cup start from the qualifying match up til the World Cup final. Nice, I got my favourite Samba boys winning the cup of life, heheh.
Besides, now I can customize those players wear what boots I like. Though the selections lack of few colourways and certain brands(Puma!), it's still nice to be able to do so. Previous series only a few players have their customized boots. I'm a football boots observer so this little details are appealing to me. :)
Next I might plan to play Japan to go for the World Cup? And later I'll either choose Germany or France to go for the finals.
Actually, I got FIFA 2007's game with me now, but I didnt install it because I prefer to keep 1 football game in my computer enough.
Now dealing with Chin Wei for his NFS: Most Wanted, another good game which I really wanna try out for quite some time.

Possible Proton cars?
Just recently Proton launched the new Proton Persona model, which is a redesigned Proton Gen.2.
I've received these pics by mail attachments from a friend. Well, possible these are future Proton models? Let's see...
Will you think this is the real deal? If you're sharp enough, you'll noticed the pic is probably photoshopped(edited). Anyway RM 120k for a coupe like this, not too bad.... the car looks aggressive from the pic.
A very obvious photoshop work(look at the Proton badge and the Proton sign front of the car).
I think this car is more like a badly touched up pic of a Peugeot and Alfa Romeo car? This must be a joke, I still prefer Wira with Japanese bloodline (current Wira is based on '92 Mitsubishi Lancer).
Now here's some more realistic pics.
You think this car will hit on the road soon? Well I dont think it'll made available for the public. I think this must be a prototype unit only, it is never meant to be a production car(Malaysian not fancy cabrio), or maybe this is the future plan for export markets?
Even so, from the pics it shows that the car is built from the old Satria's platform, while we have a replacement for the old one now, the Satria Neo. Why they still build cars from the old platform, while now we're having a new and better one?
I have to clarify here, that these cars posted in this post are very unlikely to be produced by Protons, though I'm kinda fancy the Waja GTi.
So, do not ask me for any infos of these cars OK?

Blogging from college again
Since this is a college post, so I think I should write something bout what's happening here lately.
This few weeks is the examination weeks. While we Pre-U are having our 2nd test of this semester, the Diplomas are having their semester test. After that they can enjoy their 2 weeks(or 1 week?) semester break.
Now, the Diploma students are given study leaves, making the college much emptier than usual. Since I dont use the front gate that often these days(my block is near the back entrance), so I dunno how quiet it is until I walk across canteen 2 today, the main spot for students. Hmm.... just like what my friend described, it's almost dead lol.
This week lecturers Mr Low and Mr Yap went for course again, so we've few empty periods to enjoy ourselves. Well, we're trying to revise everything that could come out for the test. Wed to Fri we'll have Phyz, Bio and Chem test respectively.
I only touched a few notes and tutorials, well I think it's a bad idea I keep myself occupied in front of the com instead of studying, guilty.
That's all for now. I think I'll reserve some important posts this weekend or later, now focus on the exam. ;)

Double Maths test 2 result
The double Maths tests are set few weeks earlier than other subjects because the lecturers will be busy marking for more exam papers if our test is set on the early Sept. At first it cause a lot of troubles to the students, but I'm grateful the lecturers did that so we can have more time to prepare for the other 3 Science tests this coming week.
So how about my result? What I can say is I did better than I expected, hahah.
Maths Pure isn't hard. Out of 7 questions I only bump into 1 question. Overall marks is 44/50. I couldn't be happier than that. :)
Maths Applied, the paper I dreaded. Crap, I only scored 5 marks out of 10 from the Maths assignment. Sigh... I thought I deserve a better marks for the paperworks I've done? I thought computerised work look tidier than handwritten work(I've to admit my writings might be too 'artistic' for some people :P).
How bout the paper? I thought I'll score very low marks for leaving few questions blank, but I scored 18/40. I know it's less than half, but still, I expect myself score somewhere near 10 or lower, so it's a good news for me.
The overall result for the Maths paper is 67/100. Not a high marks, but according to the A Level standard it's a B for me, a big improvement from the previous D.... hahah.
Maths, I like it but this time it's really giving me a lot of troubles.
