Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

How tempting... local hypermarkets are selling this "hot-cake", possibly the most popular book for this year at a very low price, RM 70, compare to RM 110 price quoted by local bookshops like MPH, Popular and Times. This had causes dispute over the bookshops, as they've decided not to put the books on shelf during the release date. Those who've pre-ordered the book however, will still be able to collect the book from the bookstores though.

As for me, I still have to wait for awhile before I can get hold of this book. My sis had pre-ordered US edition for me, but I think I'll only get it either next week, or maybe October.
I dont mind for the delay, as I've read the full plot on Wikipedia lol (though I'm not sure is it the real plot or fake).

Much anticipated book, like what JK Rowling said the story is much, much darker than previous books.

  2. Who decides which books get press (Harry Potter) and which get censored? After all, censorship is becoming America's favorite past-time. The US gov't (and their corporate friends), already detain protesters, ban books like "America Deceived" from Amazon and Wikipedia, shut down Imus and fire 21-year tenured, BYU physics professor Steven Jones because he proved explosives, thermite in particular, took down the WTC buildings. Free Speech forever (especially for books).
Last link (before Google Books caves to pressure and drops the title):
    America Deceived (book)
