My personal blog started in Nov 2004 archiving some of the memorable moments in life. It's also a journal of my personal development from a computer-loving teenager to becoming a digital marketer based in Tokyo. I may have a laughter or two when I read the entries again sometime in the future.

Computer dilema
The man tells me that it's the prob of Microsoft itself. Their Windows Update database were hacked before X'mas, which is the day I install the update, and causes the silly error crash.....
He tell me I might get my data backuped, but cant be 100% sure.....
Oh well, I'll just stay on this com for some time, and later I'm gonna get this com reformatted.

The teacher that I admires. (All-time)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first teacher I'd like to introduce is Mr. Goh CH, the owner and principal of Suria tuition centre, which is a very famous tuition centre in my school and other areas. He thought me Geo and Science from Form 1 'til Form 3, that is 3 years time.
I really admire and respect him as a teacher, he's an excellent educator. He can be humour during the class, and be very serious too. He always thought us facts of life, and some other useful tips for ourselves during our daily life althought it didnt even related to his job as a teacher.
Although he's only a tuition teacher, but I like his style soo much!! I'd like to thank him, 'coz without him, I wont be the highest scorer for Geo, and my Sc wont get such good mark from all the time. ;)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The second teacher I'll like to talk about is Mr Lawrence Hwa, the teacher of the camp I attended few days ago. It's very strange his main job isnt a teacher, but he's a person who works as insurance agent.
I admire him very much, 'coz he's knowledge are far more than those teachers in the school, and he can be serious and humour too, depends on the situation. I admire him for his knowledge and wisdom... 'coz he's just an part-time educator..... but possesses lots of facts of life and knowledge.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The third teacher I'll like to mention is Mdm. Tan SL, my Eng teacher for year 2004. She knows my sis too, 'coz my sis also thought by her before. She has a good image with both of us, and I simply become one of her fav student. :P
There's some reasons why my Eng improved so much this year, one of the main reason is b'coz influence by Mdm Tan. I began to speak Eng more often this year, and my writting skill improved alot since last year(2003). She has similiarity with Mr Goh too, mainly is b'coz she can be humour and serious, and she teaches very well. She enjoys teaching, although sometimes we might make her terribily angry. :S
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The last teacher I'd like to talk about is my primary school tuition teacher, Mr Sazali. He's an experienced B.Melayu teacher, and he's been teaching my elder sis, and my second sis before too, before teaching me years ago.
He has a great sense of humour, really, he likes to make example of his students, and it's harmless but very funny!!
Under his guide, I manage to get A for both my BM subject in UPSR..... the final exam for primary school. I'm really thankful towards him, and I felt ashame 'coz I didnt get A for my BM in this PMR. :(
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's all for now. I wont forget those teachers, 'coz without them, I wont be as smart as I am right now... hehehe......
jk, it's a silly joke. :
MotM: V3 - BeutifulDay, O2Jam. (Yet another my fav song from O2J!!! :D)

.......... the unhappy X'mas
I'm currently using another com in my house, which is not very stable, lags alot thx to those adwares/spywares..... I might consider reformat this com once the main com is back to normal.
After I had my lunch with my parents, I started to read those books I bought in China weeks ago. I cant use the com 'coz my father's using it to do his works. I left my MSN on...... but then the whole day only read my book and listen to my mp3 player. I've manage to finish 1 book. Later then I watch tv.... tons of X'mas programs.... I watch a series of Fear Factor, and a documentary about emergency machines used in US. My life was like soul-less without com, especially my main com.... (T____T)
I've no mood to play football with my mates even the weather are fine. On my MSN list not much ppl online.... those friends of mine dunno head to which part of the world to celebrate X'mas.... :(
Sigh.... what a boring day it is, though it havent ends. :
Now I'm sitting on a sofa, continue reading + listen to the music, and chatting with a person from Kor.
Music of the momment: Boyzone - Picture Of You(Theme of Mr Bean).
Sigh...... yet again...... COMPUTER FAILURE!!
But this morning when I tried to login my account, it says....
The system cannot log you in due to the following error:
The parameter is incorrect.
Please try again or consult your system administrator.
Oh WTF...... this is the morning of X'mas but it cames out with such prob? It was like hell.... without that com... all my datas, pictures..... :(
I think I get this prob after I updated the Windows Update, which I installed ystrdy night..... I doubt the update are messing up my com. >:(
Sad X'mas morning
Today my MSN list was empty, than usual. My BJ trip friends going somewhere else celebrate X'mas. The Soo's went to Singapore, and the Sek's went to somewhere else to celebrate X'mas.
I chatted with KY, Jack CW, DaJun, Sara and ZhiWei.... sent a new song for them each, Auld Lang Syne. :D
Oh well, I wonders what'll happen today morning..... or afternoon, depends on when I wake up. :P
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
It might be a little bit late, but then, wish all of my friends and visitors of this blog had a pleasent day during X'mas!! :D

What Kind of Soul Are You?
|
Your Element Is Air |
|
You dislike conflict, and you've been able to rise above the angst of the world. And when things don't go your way, you know they'll blow over quickly. Easygoing, you tend to find joy from the simple things in life. You roll with the punches, and as a result, your life is light and cheerful. You find it easy to adapt to most situations, and you're an open person. With you, what you see is what you get... and people love that! |
Somehow, I'd like to stay out of any trouble, but if it cant be avoid, so let it be~
What Kind of Soul Are You?
|
You Are a Prophet Soul |
|
You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone. Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people. Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run. No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way. You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle. Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings. A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning. You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer. Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul |
Hmm..... I wonders if it's true? 'coz myself also quite confuse with it. :P

All of them are free, but it comes with paying options too, which features more functions.
In my opinion, Flickr and Webshots are the best, but it might be abit difficult for starters. I suggest starters dwnld the Webshots and Flickr Uploader client, then it'll be easier to manage the photos.

Reviews of football
I owned an Adidas Fevernova Glider MS, and a Nike Total 90 Aerow.
My comments is.....
Adidas balls might be easier to play with, but when speeding, it might be slower than Nike's ball.
I've tried both Fevernova(matchball for WorldCup 2002 in Kor/Jpn) and Roteiro(matchball of EURO 2004 in Portgl). Both are high quality balls, and Roteiro are better than Fevernova by chance. Roteiro might be harder than Fevernova, but it's control is very good, even better than Fevernova, 'coz Fevernova sometimes bounce too much.
Nike's ball reacts faster than Adidas' ball. I call Nike's ball nightmare of keepers.... 'coz the ball moves so fast 'til the keeper havent prepare for it. But anyway, this ball is not so easy to control if compare to Adidas' ball.
So far I've only tried Nike Total 90 Aerow, so the Nike review was based on that ball.

BeiJing.......... (2)
I've learn a skill in BJ, that is bargaining. It's very important since most stores or shops item's price can be bargain(note: food, drinks and some other items are excluded.). Shopkeepers likes to place their price very high, but still can bargain to get discount up to 80% if you're a pro. Places like Lady's Street and YaShow shopping mall are great place for shopping for tourist. Note that the goods over those places are >80% fake or pirated, so the quality cant compare with the original. I've bought a football, RMB(RenMinBi, currency of China)50(RM25), original price RMB 130, a football boots, RMB 150(RM75), original price RMB 320. Ahahaha.... but too bad both are fake onez LOL!!
I've experience the coldest momment I ever had, in a city located NorthEast of BJ, ChengDe. It's the hunting ground of Qing dynasty emperor KangXi and QianLong. Since it's winter now, so it's bloody cold. Average temperature are below 0'c... and can reach -10'c. Too bad there's no snow, I only can see frozen solid lake and river. Walking on frozen water are somehow like ice-skating~
I ate many different kinds of dishes in BJ every meal. Most of those dishes cant be found in KL, so it's very special. I cant list those dishes out because I either dunno the food's name or forgot alrdy. I miss Malaysia's food, but luckily we had a chance to taste our M'sia's own dishes in a restraunt called Little Penang. M'sia's food didnt taste so good before! Even simple dish like chicken curry and fried egg can makes me ate afew bowl of rice lol! And the "teh tarik" taste good too! ^___^
If I got chance to go BJ again, I'll like to. But..... I dont want to go there during winter!!!
BeiJing........................
I'll post some of my own comments here...... quite a long post though.... I write these on my notebook on the way go and back from BeiJing.......
(Note: BJ = BeiJing, KL = Kuala Lumpur.)
On the way to BeiJing, I barely able to see afew cities below there, but I dunno what city is it.
BeiJing Int. Airport is not as good as our KLIA.... :But I think the airport can improve soon.....
Sometimes, I wonders wheter I'm in BeiJing or somewhere else. I'm unfamiliar with those places, and the ppl. It's totally different from KL.
Lots of joy along the trip, all of us are having a great time. Heh, BJ arent that bad after all.... compare to my thought when I arrive. Although there's some facts that I dont like, but I believe BJ can improve very fast. By the year 2008, BJ will be totally different..... b'coz of Olympic Games 2008 in BJ.
Peoples I met during the trip.
Our tour guide, Yuan YiJia, but we call her JiaJia, is a local chinese. She's been doing a great job. Her singing and story-telling are very interesting. She can joke, and she take care anything about the whole trip very well. Sometimes she help others to bargain prices too. ^__^
Uncle Lam, for heaven's sake this uncle can joke untill you laugh your ass off!!! The tour wont be funny and interesting without him. Thanks to him, we all could eat some extra dishes during our lunch and dinner. He uses his own money to "buy" those dishes.... from 白斩鸡 to 扒猪脸.......etc
The Sek family, especially the brothers and sisters. I like to play with them, cards, games, 毽子......etc. They're very friendly, and their youngest brother is quite cute.
- Sek Sze Wei
He's the eldest of the 4 brothers and sisters. He's 1 year older than me. He's very friendly and helpful. He's fit, but he can reacts quite well. ^__^
- Sek Sze Hao
The youngest and cutest of all. He's very small sized, I firstly thought he's just Standard 2 or 3, but the fact that he's going to Std 5 next year. He's playful and joyful. Likes to play all the time.
- Sek Ying Min
She's the 2nd eldest in the family. She's same age as me. She's just like his younger brother, likes to play too. She always walk along with her younger sister YingPin. I think she fears of height..... 'coz she took a long time to climb down from the GreatWall of China...... (say say only. :P)
- Sek Ying Pin
She's the 2nd youngest in the family. She always with her sis YingMin. She's going to secondary school next year. She's more playful than her sis, she likes to play and fool her little brother.
The Soo family, I only talk with the elder and youngest brother.
- Gerard Soo Kar Ming
He's a friendly guy, and he's the eldest in his family. He's 1 year older than me.
- Scott Soo Kar Fai
The youngest son of the Soo family. He's Std 5 next year. He's very busy-body, yet trouble-maker. But he's still cute and make some jokes too.
Too be continue......

Maksim Showcase Live In Genting
We decided to go up there by Genting Skyway..... and that time is about 7.15pm when we rides on the Skyway. We rush to the Arena of Stars and arrive there 8pm sharp. Luckily the show havent started yet..... but the arena was pack with ppl..... Too bad I came late, so I can only site on the right side of the arena, which is not clear enough to see Maksim himself. :
Around 8.20pm, the show begins..... After afew words from the mc lady, the Croatian pianist shows up. The crowd goes WILD!!!! I dare not to shout or scream like others 'coz my parents are besidez me LOL..... Btw he's very tall.... 200cm.... O_O
The pianist starts the showcase with his Variations Part I & II single Kolibre.... which is alrdy make the crowd goes wild! His hand was amazing fast....
After Kolibre, he starts with Amazonic, and following with Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence. Heh.... Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence was one of my fav pieces of him.... :D
Maksim continues his playing with Bohemian Rhapsody. Then the show pause for awhile. Later after that, Maksim continues the show with his first album "The Piano Player"'s single, Flight Of The Bumble Bee. The crowd goes crazy 'coz they didnt expect him to play this song.... since he's promoting his 2nd album. Anyway the song went very well, yet another great piece of Maksim.
The show ends with the final song, which is Maksim himself's favourite..... Totentanz. Heh, I like this song too, the tune is abit freaky yet very nice!! The crowd loves it!!! SO as me!! XD
Too bad the showcase ends in 30 mins time.... and my recording of the full showcase are not clear at all!! :(

You Know You're Chinese When.... |
|
You unwrap Christmas gifts very carefully, so you can save and reuse the wrapping (and especially those bows) next year. You only buy Christmas cards after Christmas, when they are 50% off. When there is a sale on toilet paper, you buy 100 rolls and store them in your closet or in the bedroom of an adult child who has moved out. You have a vinyl table cloth on your kitchen table. Your stove is covered with aluminum foil. You use the dishwasher as a dish rack. You keep a Thermos of hot water available at all times. You eat all meals in the kitchen. You save grocery bags, tin foil, and tin containers. You use grocery bags to hold garbage. You always leave your shoes at the door. You have a piano in your living room. You twirl your pen around your fingers. Even if you're totally full, if someone says they're going to throw away the leftovers on the table, you'll finish them. You don't own any real Tupperware -- only a cupboard full of used but carefully rinsed margarine tubs, takeout containers, and jam jars. You also use the jam jars as drinking glasses. You've eaten a red bean Popsicle. You bring oranges (or other produce) with you as a gift when you visit people's homes. You have a collection of miniature shampoo bottles that you take every time you stay in a hotel. The condiments in your fridge are either Price Club sized or come in plastic packets, which you save/steal every time you get take out or go to McDonald's. Ditto for paper napkins. You never order room service. You carry a stash of your own food whenever you travel (and travel means any car ride longer than 15 minutes). These travel snacks are always dried. As in not just dried plums, dried ginger, and beef/pork jerky, but dried cuttlefish (SQUID). Your parents vehemently refuse the sack of gold coin oranges that their guests just brought just to be courteous. Your dad thinks he can fix everything himself. You majored in something practical like engineering, medicine or law. When you go to a dance party, there are a wall of guys surrounding the dance floor trying to look cool. You live with your parents and you are 30 years old (and they prefer it that way). Or if you're married and 30 years old, you live in the apartment next door to your parents, or at least in the same neighborhood. You don't use measuring cups. You feel like you've gotten a good deal if you didn't pay tax. You beat eggs with chopsticks. Your parents' house is always cold. You have a teacup with a cover on it. You reuse teabags. Your mom drives her Mercedes to the Price Club. You tip Chinese delivery guys / waiters more. You're a wok user. You like Chinese films in their original undubbed versions. You have acquired a taste for bittermelon. You like congee with thousand year old eggs. You prefer your shrimp with the heads and legs still attached -- it means they're fresh. You never call your parents just to say hi. You always cook too much. If you don't live at home, when your parents call, they ask if you've eaten rice, even if it's midnight. Your parents tell you to boil herbs and stay inside when you get sick. They also tell you not to eat fried foods or baked goods because they produce hot air. Your parents never go to the movies. Your parents send money to their relatives in China. You use a face cloth. Your parents use a clothes line. You eat every last grain of rice in your bowl, but don't eat the last piece of food on the table. You starve yourself before going to all you can eat sushi. You've joined a CD club at least once. You know someone who can get you a good deal on jewelry or electronics. You never discuss your love life with your parents. Your parents are never happy with your grades. You keep most of your money in a savings account. You've been on the Love Boat or know someone who has. Your toothpaste tubes are all squeezed paper-thin. You love Chinese Martial Arts films. You have Tupperware in your fridge with three bites of rice or one leftover chicken wing. Shao Lin and Wu Tang actually mean something to you. You love to go to $1.75 movies. You love to go to $1.50 movies even more. You never order sweet-n-sour pork, egg foo young, or chop suey at a Chinese restaurant. You hate to spend more than $5 for lunch. Someone in your family drives a Honda... with custom rims. You have a Chinese knick-knack hanging from your rear-view mirror. You like to eat chicken feet. You suck on fish heads and fish fins. You turn bright red after drinking two tablespoons of beer. You can get a buzz on Coors O'Douls or Miller Sharps. You look like you are eighteen. You only buy used cars. You have more than five remotes in your house. You leave the plastic on the lampshade for ten years or more. You can't bear to throw things away. Your dad washes his hair four times a day, or never at all. Your unassisted vision is worse than 20/500. You've worn glasses at least since the fifth grade. Your parents (or some other close relative) own a grocery store or restaurant. You drive around looking for the cheapest gas. You add twice the amount of water recommended when making orange juice from concentrate. You've never seen your parents hug. Your grandmother lives with you and your family. You never order desserts at restaurants. You always have water when dining out. You say "aiya!" and "wah!" frequently. You love Las Vegas, slot machines, and blackjack. You love to play mah jong. You have to read all your parents' mail written in English. You are constantly being set up with uninteresting (and usually ugly) people by your parents. You hate eating cheese. You have a big aquarium filled with colorful fish somewhere in your house. Your mother is strangely obsessed with plants. White people look at you strangely if you tell them you are Buddhist. You notice the main topic at family get-togethers is food. You seldom ever owned new clothes if you were a second child. Your folks never speak under 10 decibels at family gatherings. You never made the school football or basketball team. You have two middle initials instead of one. You grow your own bean sprouts in the kitchen. Your mother made you peel water chestnuts and snow peas. You have an lonely unmarried relative who frequently drops by during dinner time. You received little red envelopes containing money on special occasions. You use the underside of a porcelain bowl to sharpen your knives. You cut your own hair… or had someone in your family do it. Your grandmother has a lot of gold teeth… especially in front. You keep fresh garlic and ginger in the kitchen at all times. You know what the term "lemon" or a "banana" means. You only have to shave every other day (maybe). You wash and reuse ziplock bags. You know at least three people named Alan Wong. You never drank milk after eating cherries. Your parents collect jade jewelry. You always drink tea after a meal. Your dad owns at least one bird. Your parents grow vegetables in a garden. You use doilies to decorate your furniture. Your grandmother rapped your knuckles with her chopsticks while reaching food with your fingers. You're proud to be Chinese - and you pass these jokes on to all your Chinese friends! |

Form 3, which is this year. I had a great experience this year, for being the class monitor and joined Students Union. I learn alot this year and I've knew many ppl, which we easily become best friends like Kenyi and Jack.
Not to mention, I've learnt lots of experience too....
